Thank you. Yes, anything less than Shemar is going to be a let down. He's the only one I believe who would garner media attention AND bring in Y&R (mostly lapsed) viewers. He's hot as hell, can act and has respected daytime. Also, with Devon making the cross over, it makes a lot of sense since their Y&R characters are connected if they were to cast him as Malcom.  

There is no universe in which Shemar Moore is joining this show on contract, lol.

If they're talking about a contract hire it's someone like Ted King, Blakemore, etc. All strong, hot and (particularly with King) popular daytime vets. Which would be fine with me.

I agree, but Ted King has been around the block, and his recent stint at B&B was mostly a huge letdown. Not his fault, but the bloom is a bit off the rose. I would be VERY surprised at Shemar, who could certainly headline a Tyler Perry Netflix movie if he wanted to, but not sure if there’d be that much buzz for TK beyond the diehards. He’s not someone I’d hype up. He feels more like JL and CM. A trusted vet.

Last I read, Shemar is trying for a spinoff of recently ended SWAT.

Could it be Ted King, I remember him meeting with MVJ right before the show's premiere and yes he's HOT lol
