I always love a good Leslie/Eva vs. Kat fight!  This is going to be good. Leslie looked so devilish when she turned around and Kat told her she doesn't below there.  I'm so here for it!

• I appreciate that Ted is inviting Eva to the launch of ChelseaKat. Very nice of him.
• Uh-oh, here come Anita and Vernon to rain on Dani and Naomi's parade... and it is hilarious, with Dani remarking she is Serena Williams (whoever that happens to be), and Venus? Again, I do not know these people, but I assume they are real-life references (do not need to know... I do not truly care)?
• So Dana joined the country club as a member? Oh, the Duprees will not be happy about this one.
• How sweet Bill came to visit Chelsea ahead of the launch and give us some history on the line's name... and here comes Madison... it is very clear Chelsea is not ready to come out to Bill, which I do understand.
• Katherine's world is just rocked with the concept of Dana joining the country club... and those things on top of the salad? Like croutons? YUM! But Tomas, you might want to duck for cover!
• Here comes Vanessa to ring her truth like she did in the premiere. Her timing is impeccable.
• So, Dana put an offer in on the house right across the street from the Duprees? Oh... that's significant.
• Uh-oh, here comes someone to rain on Chelsea's big night! This is why you do not leave doors open and/or unlocked!
• Looks like the Duprees just got new neighbours... the Thomases. Interesting development.
• Chelsea chained to a bed... sleeping soundly?

Notes:

• Another episode with some well-fitted clothing for Keith D. Robinson (Ted)! Yes!

Ohh I love the Chelsea kidnapping cliffhanger!  That's some good soap opera. BTG hasn't done this year - having someone be tied up and missing. I can't wait for next week!  Also LOL at Bill carrying Leslie out of Anita/Vernon's house next week.

Nice to witness a scene between Ted and Bill. Much needed!

Yeah, I don't see Nicole and Carlton being long-term. It feels too out of character for her to get serious with him.

Eva does a great job being Leslie's conscience.

I thought it was odd that Vanessa met with Leslie about buying a house at the country club. Then it was odd to see Chelsea -- the day before her merch launch -- at Orphey Gene's doing all her work on her tablet, paperwork spread out, etc.

Exactly. Zero sense. Some posters insist that Ted and Leslie have chemistry, but I don't see it -- at all. I DO think Ted and Nicole's natural chemistry has been obliterated by really bad writing.

Ted and Nicole are both educated. They both have professional and refined personalities. They're both essentially dignified people. Leslie is none of that. If the show wrote for Ted and Nicole, we'd see the chemistry.

I don't think writing for the couple would change much. Robinson's Ted is kind of a weenie (though he's good with Eva) and MJ had his issues. I frankly suspect Ted was always meant to be a character who won't last forever. He is a delivery system for Leslie and Eva.

I haven't seen the chemistry with either actress, but I can buy NuTed being manipulated by Leslie. I agree, it would be nice to have a Nicole/Ted scene that's about them and their history without pushing the plot to test their chemistry.
