As annoying and twee as Molly in particular could get back then, they had very specific personalities and relationships. Carlivati from what I recall couldn't care less. I barely recall them ever sharing scenes once Brydog arrived. The Guza team would not have forgotten that.

And yes, Michael and Kristina were also close which is why I still have a soft spot for whenever Michael calls her 'Krissy.' You could tell they were actually dancing around pairing them when Drew Garrett was there, because they were not related by blood.

I did like the Molly/Morgan friendship.  I don't recall Molly ever interacting with Morgan once they aged him.  Tbh, I don't remember the show using Molly much at all during this period.  I think it was pre-TJ.

Drew Garrett, and to a lesser extent Chad, had chemistry with Lexi's Kristina.  The show was definitely contemplating it.  It was an odd choice to literally only age Michael and Kristina up at the time because they only had one another in their age group.  Obviously they added Kiefer and dayplayer girl that died in the Hallelujah bus crash, but both Michael and Kristina ended up with love interests way older than them (Abby/Ethan).

I am not even sure what there is to investigate.  Would someone force Natalia to drink and take her own pills?  That's not even an effective or quick way to kill someone.

T.J. came in in either very late '11 or early '12, just before Carlivati and FV arrived. They made several attempts to put HP's Molly over as their new Starr Manning-type teen heroine, largely by introducing Felix's sister to tempt T.J. into bad behavior and trying to push Molly with that little twink Rafe Jr. It was an obvious attempt to push the Black kid out and prefabricate a new, all-white Starr and Cole. When all of that flopped they lost all interest in both characters and T.J. and Molly entered shared purgatory for years to come. But no, I don't remember any Morgan/Molly scenes post-2012 either lol.

The Natalia thing is just another excuse to do a tried and true plotline: Poor Sonny, framed or put upon by the PCPD or his enemies. I am thrilled she's dead though.

I'm pretty sure they decided Michael and Kristina was too much of an weird third rail given the shared family history and sibling-like relationship. I won't lie though, I might've watched it. Garrett and Lexi were cute together. You could never do it now ofc.

Oh yeah, now I remember all the Rafe/Felix's sister stuff.  I even recall them recasting Felix's sister lol.  Man, TJ and Molly were like one of the longest running couples on GH and now he's gone in another area of the hospital.

As far as the Natalia thing-it is what it is.  I just don't see the need to really investigate it all.

It was too weird.  I do remember the show going out of their way to remind us they weren't blood related and didn't really grow up together because Alexis wouldn't allow it (fair, btw).

-- Joss now wants the WSB to take down Sonny. Wow, talk about downsizing the purpose for the WSB, and talk about Joss' power to elevate a problem to take care of.

-- Had to laugh when Joss and Vaughan watched the fire at Charlie's Why do soap characters always look up when watching a fire? Is Charlie's in a 10-story building?

     They do the same thing when walking into a renovated place or onto a different/beautiful set. Invariably, characters look up at the ceiling to tell us how surprised and excited they are. 😂

Yeah from my catch-up, I was offended that they are giving him the 'Paul Williams is in town somewhere' approach to him not even being in town. Excuse me?

I'll always love Emma/Gio scenes. They're so good together 😊😊😊

Those are the characters (along with Trina) who should be leading the younger group right now, as opposed to the WSB honeypot who once again showed what a spoiled, entitled, hypocritical POS she is 🖕

And I definitely didn't like seeing Ms. Wu being so beholden to Sidwell either. She's always been a lot smarter than that.

I am interested in Marco blaming Sonny for Natalia's death though. And the potential conflict that it could lead to for him and Lucas.

And, very interested in Tracy trying to keep Gio away from Sonny. GH really needs to start building up that relationship again.

They really are. While I still wouldn't mind Gio leaning Trina's way, I have found them so adorable. Especially since the NB reveal. They are so ride-or-die for each other. And it's good to see that in the young love department. 

 

Amen. I ain't got time for Alias. Though I do love that the underlying tension between Emma vs Joss has continued.

Coming back to regular viewing I like them all as a young unit, but I wish Trina had more agency outside of Kai. 

 

Awww I feel that. 

Honestly Joss feels like the afterthought on the show now, and has for some time even before Dex died. Emma and Gio are where the money and rooting value is at. I knew Braedyn Bruner had it on Day 1 and GM has always appealed to me but has fully impressed this year.

Trina is the only character the show clearly wants to be the real afterthought, but if it was me it would be about Emma, Gio, Trina and then someone like Justus and Faith's imaginary scheming son lol. You could mix and match them together and play a quad or all sorts of combinations, since Trina and Gio were the original intent last summer (an idea almost immediately dropped). You can add other people in as well, maybe some kids from the Asian Quarter, Cam at some point, etc. If we were in the UK you could let Gio go bi too, but that's never happening here.
