Ron Moss was actually charming in his lack of talent. Alex is just awful and has zero charisma. It doesn’t help that both the actresses in the storyline are some of the best on the show and just reek of charisma.

For the most part, the writers on B&B seemed to write to Ronn's limited skill level (save for "IT'S NOT GONNA HAPPEN!") and Ronn could bring the words off the page in character as opposed to just line reading. Alex Alegria sounds like he has memorized his lines and recites them back without any feeling.

It’s not gonna happen is so iconic. I very rarely have kept up with Bold through the years but I was a Kyle Lowder fan from Days so I started watching. I could not believe my luck to be watching live to catch that scene. I wish I could find my reaction in the annals of this board. We had a field day that day. I still laugh when someone brings up that scene.

In my opinion... Worse.

The lack of interest I have in anything Dani does is off the chartsssss. Tired of listening to other people tell her she's gorgeous when we've seen so many narcissistic characteristics in her.

I love Dani and Andre and I've enjoyed seeing her more in support mode with her family. The one thing I can't get behind is her relationship with Pamela (a total dud) or anything involving modelling. I just can't see how they can take that anywhere so whenever they had these pointless meetings, it just feels like it can never go anywhere. And sure enough, almost 100 episodes in, it hasn't gone anywhere.

They need to find something she can do that can keep her in Fairmont Crest and actually allow her to mix with the cast. This is why I suggested her open a spa or something. Even a nightclub would be nice, but modelling? What can they actually do with that? A fashion show once every six months? Who cares about that?

No! Brandon Claybon is not THAT bad.

Yes. Brandon is times and times better than Alex Alegria. He can act circles around him.

There should never be silent (without background music) scenes when Alegria is on screen. Any type of music to make it better is appreciated.

Agreed. I might of have misread the previous response.

Sean Freeman, Jibre Hordges, Brandon Claybon can act. Alex Alegria can't.

Just now catching up to Friday's episode and saw online people talking about June trying to pay with that play money, even making fun of it.

Maybe, my empathy button is turned on high, but that made me sad.

Obviously, we don't know everything about June, but it seems clear to me her mental health is in question.

I’ve yet to understand how Joe was involved in Martin’s story. They’ve explained the Duprees’ version a thousand times already, but what’s that saying—there are two sides to every story…

I also wanted to comment on Ted possibly being watered down after the recast. Honestly, Ted has been a non-character from the very beginning. Where’s his fatal flaw? What does he want—and what does he really need?

Most of these “characters” aren’t even stereotypes—they’re archetypes. In many cases, there’s just nothing more to them. In other cases, I’d say it depends on what the actor brings to the role and how the character is translated from page to screen.

Case in point: Tomas. Here we have this avid sci-fi reader (plot device alert) who was 100% committed just a few weeks ago, and now he’s bouncing between one sister and the other—and then back again—all within the span of a couple of episodes. There’s no clear motivation behind him, no consistency with what we’ve seen so far. And obviously, the robotic actor doesn’t help. (Oh, and by the way—I detest his ugly tattoos.)

Finally, I don’t understand what Nicole is planning for the rest of her life. Notice how the word divorce has never even been mentioned. She and Ted are stuck in a lull—just stalling—much like Leslie and everyone else after that “epic” reveal three months ago. And I predict Martin and Smitty will end up in the same boat once this stupid Kenny ordeal fades out.
