I might have to get the book just to see Agnes' letters (though it sounds like a great read). I am glad to hear Agnes kept writing the show in her head, much as so many of us have done with our favorite soaps that have gone by.

I died at Budig rightly noting that Greenlee used to be a homophobic bully. "I called her Lesbianca! You couldn't get away with that now!" I haven't heard anyone from the show mention that in over 20 years.

For those keeping track of the family drama, Susan also offhandedly mentions having a multi-generational family dinner including her daughter following Helmut's death.

I love love love how relaxed and casual she is in this entire thing. Seeing her able to talk openly about losing Helmut and all the things that meant for her makes me so proud of her.
