Amen. That woman has carried the show together with SF through some dark times. I will forever respect her for that.

Sadly Brooke has been rendered irrelevant for the past... like... half a decade. It really hurts the show in my opinion. Downgrading her to "just a crying mom" to Hope and a "stupid cheerful wife" to Ridge without any agenda of her own... Was a huge mistake. 

You just don't turn the show's main troublemaker into this... boring... boring woman. And I don't get why that is. She hasn't aged that visibly. Brooke still looks like she did decades ago. I would love if Bradley could give her some bone to chew. Just... Invent an adversary other than Steffy. Brooke is the best when she is being terrorized or having someone to fight against. That weak nothing of a woman is not Brooke.

I know of Nick. I wasn't a regular viewer or paid too much attention to B&B back then. But I liked the chemistry already between him and Brooke. And how well-timed after another Ridge rejection. And Brooke in her undies was just an adorable meet-cute. lol. AND a montage? *swoons* I can't wait for more.

 

I also really appreciated the update on his life. I know of Massimo and Marone Industries. So good to see where the business is at. It was REALLY good to hear about how Jack is doing. I know of him. And I know you all discuss him from time to time. So we now have an update.

 

Wow. JMW is showing. That said...lord...we are going to write Luna back into the corner even though she's a great actress. smh.

 

Oh, shut up, Taylee!! Eric has a right to have his feelings. And Ridge can say all he wants, but we know he's going to feel a way when he sees Nick is in town.

I don't know. Hopefully they'll catch this earlier than they did in May with the Pope preemption.

I don't know. Usually when it comes to B&B and this happens, don't they usually do a repeat?

USA did a 2022 repeat today Monday,
but CTV-Canada didn't know about the preemption so CTV aired the new episode.

So tomorrow Tuesday, USA gets the new episode --
Will CTV figure it out and air Monday again, or air the 2022 repeat, or will they be confused?

Canada always makes the adjustment ASAP.
But recently, something unusual happened: when the USA preemption happened May 8 for the election of the new Pope, Canada didn't adjust right away, and was one day ahead for a few days until someone made the correction.

Hmmmm I guess time will tell.

B&B now will air *Friday* cliffhangers on Tuesday, which means the week will end with Wednesday episodes. 

Based on what we know from the studio move, this will continue through mid-September.

Per Deadline, B&B starts filming again August 19. 

Honestly, Brad & Casey probably aren't too sad with the pre-emptions because JMW's absence will be even shorter or barely noticeable.
