-- I thought Paul and Andrew looked just fine in their matching suits...handsome, hot, summery. Just because most gays wouldn't want to match at their wedding doesn't mean they can't match.

The fit? It was also fine. No one else there dressed in formal black tie, after all.

-- This last-minute adoption stuff with Sophia's and Tate's baby is hard to watch. I can't see concentrating on the suits of the married gay couple when we're getting an "adoption process" that is completely ridiculous.

-- I know Josh Taylor is 81 and looks good for his age, but how loose were his dentures today?

@AbcNbc247 Philip's threat to Vivian can't stick, right?  I hope that wasn't the last we ever see of her.

Also, didn't Ava see the gun in the planter before she left too?  Am I recalling that scene correctly?

Probably not, since I don’t remember there being any evidence of it.

As for Ava, I don’t think she saw that gun but she did have her own that she put in the trash can

Boy, am I glad that it looks like we're not getting a Kate getting jealous about Roman and Marlena storyline. No offense, but she's too old for that s*it. They all have an adult great-grandchild 😂😂😂

I'm glad that Roman clued her in about everything that Johnny said. I'd love to see her team up with him and Marlena in order to protect Johnny. Bringing Brady into the whole Johnny situation is a good decision as well, especially if it means what we've all suggested about EJ's shooting.

Btw, I'm glad EJ is starting to remember his confrontation with Johnny.

Speaking of Johnny, even though I hope that at some point, we get more scenes of him reflecting on how he's given up his dream of being a director, I like seeing him in worker mode. And considering his scenes with Gabi today, I can't help but wonder if something is going to happen with them now lol I don't think I'd mind it but I just hope they build enough conflict for him and Chanel in order for it to happen. And I'd much rather prefer this than anything happening between Gabi and Alex, which luckily appears to have been sent packing with Uncle Ron. Weaving JJ (and Arianna) into this whole possible situation could be pretty good as well. And now that Gabi's realized that Johnny was the one she heard arguing with EJ, I'm curious as to what's going to happen now.

And yeah, I'll always enjoy Xander/Sarah fights. Just like with Johnny and Chanel, I'm ready to go along for the ride with the two of them and to see where they, and everyone around them go from here. There did seem to be a little chemistry between Sarah and Brady too. Not a lot lol but there's something. And I guess now we know why Days suddenly remembered Sarah and Rachel's relationship.

And, I like that Sarah was there for Marlena again too. Marlena playing John's voicemail again was 😥

Lol!  Andrew/Paul's suits are way more interesting than Sophia's baby!!!

The adoption stuff is silly though.  No one but Sophia seems to have any sense of urgency about finding parents.  Brady is telling Melinda not to help, but Tate nor Brady are helping the young girl find a home for the baby.  I know it's probably leading to Tate wanting to keep the baby, but I just end up feeling bad for Sophia because no one is helping her set up the process correctly.  Are there no adoption agencies in Salem?

This is the first thing I noticed when I started watching again for the John fallout (still going through it, BTW!). My man can barely speak.

The best on daytime since Will and Sonny's in 2014

I thought the Teriah (Mariah/Tessa) wedding on Y&R in 2022 was really great.

And he already had terrible enunciation.

So Maggie voted for EJ to get the hospital, over her late husband's COMPANY, because she is mad that Xander didn't like being lied and betrayed to? If she was certain he was off to jail, all the better, because TITAN, not Xander, would be buying the hospital, as opposed to EJ, an individual. I hope in the revote Xander wins and becomes Sarah's boss. I am so tired of her absolute refusal to accept that she caused this whole mess to escalate.

Roman is right. Xander and Philip are both career criminals who did vile things to each other. Call it a day and let them work it out.

Victoria was adorable. I hated seeing Xander have to beg his awful wife to let him see her, even when he was right there. And 'manly' Brady offering to protect them. I am going to hate Sarah and Brady. What a terrible idea that is.

I don't miss Leo.

Team Sarah here.  I loathe Xander.
Sarah sometimes lies.  Xander tries to kill people, and I hate him.

(I like Paul Telfer but loathe Xander. Both things can be true.)

Gotta admit, I'm a little surprised that Maggie has become this anti-Xander. I understand her sticking by her daughter, but she's been Xander's champion for the longest time.

Good episode today. I’d give it a 6 out of 10.

It made me think about two things. First, the show played with the idea that Kate might misread the hug between Roman and Marlena. But they didn’t go there, which was the right choice. Marlena just buried John, and the characters know each other too well for that kind of misunderstanding.

What stood out more was that Roman and Marlena later talked to Johnny together. It made me think about how those two are starting to lean on each other, especially when it comes to supporting Johnny. It also makes me curious how Kate will respond—not out of jealousy, but because Roman’s loyalty is important to her. Loyalty is always a trigger for Kate. And now that Johnny is working under Philip at Titan, today’s episode quietly set up an interesting future conflict: whether Roman’s loyalty will go to Johnny, his grandson with Marlena, or to Philip, through his marriage to Kate. That could affect Roman and Kate’s marriage, which I’d be fine with—I wouldn’t mind seeing Kate move on from the pub. And now that Tony’s back, I’ve always liked the chemistry between Kate and Tony.

A bit of a slow day today

But I did enjoy seeing Kayla go head to head with EJ again. This improved writing for Kayla keeps impressing me every time we see her.

Unfortunately, the same can't be said for her daughter. I've voiced my suspicions on here, but I really don't know why they're now having Stephanie agreeing to publish her book, when she was so dead set against it. Her being angry at Alex for going behind her back and passing the book around Salem is such a good opportunity to cause conflict for the two of them. Why would they pass up the chance for that? And, I think all of this could also be tied to the whole Philip/Xander situation too.

Speaking of Philip and Xander, Philip showed a little more strength and determination today, which is much, much better than having him be so subservient to Xander. I'm interested in seeing where they go from here.

And while Carson Boatman and Dan Feuerriegel did a really good job again, I don't think having Johnny and EJ make peace so quickly after everything that happened is the right decision either. Having them be at odds for a long time can provide so much good drama. And not just for them but for everyone around them as well. The cliffhanger ending was pretty good though.

But yeah, everything with Cat... Skip. I'm starting to wonder if it was this storyline that prompted Billy Flynn to leave.

Philip and Xander continue to be the best pairing on the show. I loved that Philip got the upper hand today and I can't wait to see what they get up to at TitanDimera

What was the point of the revote if we got the same outcome? I guess Brady and Kayla swapped votes and idiot Maggie continued to vote against her husband's legacy.

Please stop with Stephanie and her novel. I am begging. Kate is only taking the job so she can bring down Xander. If the porno saves TitanDimera from folding I guess there could be a use for it.

Jada promises to question Johnny discretely but jumps to arresting him for attempted murder? OK?

Cat and Chad are terrible and all those scenes could have been cut. Especially the mustard flashback. Ridiculous.

Liked Kayla taking the hard stance on EJ and his entire world going from everything is perfect to imploding. Will he defend Johnny in his own attempted murder trial? It's Salem so could happen!

TitanDimera counting on One Stormy Night to make up for liquidating assets is classic Salem math. They sell off half the company to bid on a hospital, lose the bid, and now the plan is to let Stephanie’s novel cover the gap. What’s next, blaming a financial collapse on skipping the seafood tower at the Bistro?
