The cast said that scenes were filmed over a few weeks, with a preplanned hiatus in the middle, and it was all out of order.  I would *guess* that they used Chandler when they could get him?

Figured it was something like that.

It's just feels weird that Will came back to see John but he's not gonna be at his funeral but

Spoiler

is gonna be at Paul and Andrew's wedding. If it were me, I wouldn't have included Will in the wedding if he wasn't gonna be at the funeral.

I'm happy they're making sure to state that Tate and Arianna consider each other family as the last thing we need is another Alex situation.

They are blood related. Through Sami and Theresa.

He had the cut last week, too. Did he hit his head in the scene where he first got sick with the flu or was it a real life instance that they haven't talked about. Glad I'm not crazy thinking I missed something.

I didn't notice it last week, but it looked so fresh today. Like he got cut minutes before they started filming or something lol

Yes Arianna and Tate are blood related through Sami and Theresa.

They are also adoptive/honorary related because Arianna's third.parent is Sonny,
which makes Arianna and Tate related through Justin and Isabella.

Teach me to post cocky about all these rampant relations! As for the cut, it just made Leo Howard look more stunningly handsome. There are guys I think are hotter, but he's got the prettiest face hands down.

Perfectly understandable 👍

It was a real-life instance; I remember he had IG stories about the injury.

I just finished watching and I have to admit, not once did I find myself wondering who wasn't there.

Quick question for anyone who followed this better than I did: was it only Andrew who rescued Cat and John from Clyde, or was Shane involved too? The reactions during their scenes today felt a little off to me. I know it was meant to be vague, but I didn't find it strange that they already knew each other.

The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.

Maybe it’s me, and the fact that RC isn’t at the helm, but since Cwikly and Ford have taken over I’ve noticed the show doing a lot of things differently directing wise, and since the storyline of John’s demise began, the show has been using different scores, and dare I say better ones than this time last year. It’s interesting and I wonder if the any of it is Noel Maxam’s influence before being promoted.

Another great episode.

Once again, I enjoyed the interactions that characters had with each other. Even with everything going on, Marlena was still strong for her children and grandchildren. Abe, Steve and Shane's and Roman and Kayla's eulogies stood out to me the most. Whoever wrote them, or if they were improvised by the actors, they did a really good job with them. I still think Roman should've had a scene at John's bedside where he told him all of this though. And I couldn't help but tear up a little when Brady led everybody in singing 'Amazing Grace' and during Paul's eulogy as well. You could tell that nobody is really acting here, but something about Christopher Sean has always hit very differently during this storyline, and that was on full display today.

I also liked that they mentioned that there was a live stream set up for people who couldn't make the service, because there are plenty of people lol

And I'm glad that Bo finally knows the truth about John and everything that happened. Bo demanding that Hope take him to the funeral was classic Bo, and it has me looking forward to tomorrow.

Definitely.

I've noticed that they've been using that stupid joke music a lot less too and I couldn't be happier.

They were all effective but Paul's is the one that got to me most. Christopher Sean has the same ability Drake Hogestyn had –- to make me absolutely believe that his character cares deeply for his onscreen family and friends.

There's a sweetness about him, also he just feels like a real person, he possesses this authenticity.

@AbcNbc247 and I have always loved us some Paul Naurita/Christopher Sean lol.  He's John's best child by a mile if we don't count Carrie.  I have always thought CS shared a lot of Drake's mannerisms and looks like John/Drake, or what I assume a half-Asian child of John's would look like lol.  While Belle looks and acts more like Marlena/Deidre, Paul has always been the closest to being like John.    Brady is a shame to his parents so he favors no one.

And is the perfect one to carry on John’s legacy.

He must take after Isabella 😂😂😂

Because from what I’ve seen, there seemed to be times where she wasn’t all that bright either

I don't want to speak ill of the fictional dead, but Isabella was an idiot lol
