Yes she does but I get Lois and her reasons. I see everyone's side

Yeah, that was one of the things I was talking about.

I know fans are falling all over these last few weeks and/or last few episodes as "the best in years" and perhaps they are; but what I've seen is histrionics and hysteria except from Jane Elliot and a few other vets.  Tuesday's episode may have been awesome based on today's soap standards but I wasn't buying most of it (other than the writing for Tracy and Jane's acting). And the performer who plays GIO is barely passable and can't hold up against Jane E. Practically every character who's part of the Gio reveal has stolen babies, given up babies, switched babies, had affairs and didn't tell the dude they were pregnant (and/or committed a host of other felonies); and these GH writers are portraying it like it's 1950s Oakdale USA.  On a positive note, Frank finally replaced Chad with someone who seems to be able to act. I saw Rory on Y&R and can't fault him for Griffith's prozac drivel. On top of all of that, I was completely distracted/amused by Rena and Amanda's matching non linear, mind of their own, eyebrows.  They do look like Mother/Daughter.

These posts are out of control, but this one made me laugh out loud.

She also lied about Leo

Honestly, Olivia had kind of a good reason to keep her son safe from a mobster for two decades.  Sonny literally shot Dante in the chest lol and had multiple family members die, get injured, threatened, kidnapped, etc, etc.   I know you don't watch the show very often, but it's not like Olivia should have shown up and given Sonny and his 18-year-old girlfriend Brenda shared custody of a kid.  That would have been a horrible, life threatening idea.

I'm sorry, but I just can't get past the fact that it was Lois, of all people, who deceived so many people.  No matter how hard Rena Sofer tries to justify Lois' actions - and boy, does she work hard! - it just isn't something Lois would've done.

Agreed.  It doesn't feel in character at all.

Still loving all the Gio fallout, but the scenes that really surprised me this episode were the ones with Nina and Maxie. I was not expecting Nina to be the one to put together all the pieces about Sasha's baby daddy. This custody hearing is about to get explosive!

Weirdly I feel like Nina was the most sus about the entire situation.  Normally I would have given this one to Carly, but Nina was always kind of trying to make it make sense.

I think Nina (and Alexis) are actually really smart characters.  They just constantly get in their own way with dumb plans lol.

I'm all for it. Get them Nina!

Another great episode.  GH has been pretty good this year, loading up the chamber, because now there's many bullets to fire, and another one was fired today when Nina found out Michael is the father of Sasha's baby.  I hope this secret comes out at the hearing.  I've also liked the slow burn with Gio/Emma. There's just so many things to look forward to on this show now.  GH is finally back to being really good.

I think there's a story to tell in someone who always believed in honesty and integrity being emmeshed in so many lies, but I agree that it wasn't very well laid out over the last few months. I think if I was more invested in Lois, I would have more of an issue than I do.

Few can hold up against Jane.

This is one of those cases where I think mentioning who already switched babies or have long-lost children would just take away from the fallout. If Lulu wants to drag Brook Lyn for hypocrisy there is probably still time (if the show bothers).

I don't think anyone would claim these are the best GH episodes ever. It may be very lowered expectations at play. But I do think that scenes like yesterdays were some of Tracy's best, as she is a character who is often not allowed that type of moment.

The character of Lois has been ruined and trashed. There's no coming back from this mess. The current production and writing team have had no idea as to what made her special to begin with. She had a bit of moral fiber. Her treatment on the show is not atypical though, as most characters will get trashed, even beyond redemption, if it serves the current flavor of the month plotline.
