Members MichaelGL Posted yesterday at 06:50 PM Members Share Posted yesterday at 06:50 PM Is that some foreshadowing there between Eva and Leslie, and Eva being there to catch her fall if she goes too far….hmmmmm Please register in order to view this content
Members janea4old Posted yesterday at 06:51 PM Members Share Posted yesterday at 06:51 PM (edited) I watched up until the New York news interruption several minutes ago. From what I've seen, the whole Eva/Dana-Leslie scene is very complex and layered. Eva figuring it out. Dana gaslighting Eva. Well-written and well-acted. Hope to watch the rest of the scene on Pplus/CBS later. Edited yesterday at 06:52 PM by janea4old
Members DemetriKane Posted yesterday at 06:53 PM Members Share Posted yesterday at 06:53 PM I know a couple of pages back there was a conversation about the bad guy/Villains remaining on the canvas. I don't see Leslie staying for long. After this secret is out, I see her going too far, Or skipping town. Eva will be the long-term troublemaker. Agreed!
Members janea4old Posted yesterday at 06:56 PM Members Share Posted yesterday at 06:56 PM (edited) I added an edit onto my earlier post about gambling: https://www.naadac.org/assets/2416/jon_grant_ppt.pdf In DSM-5, the disorder is included in the chapter on substance use disorders because of consistently high rates of comorbidity, similar presentations of some symptoms, and genetic and physiological overlap. It also aligns more closely to substance use disorders than to other psychiatric conditions. adding onto that now: I remember reading about this back in 2013 when the DSM-5 was first published. They talked back then about how compulsive gambling can have a physiological affect on part of the brain similar to how substance abuse disorder can affect the physical brain. Members MichaelGL Posted yesterday at 06:56 PM Members Share Posted yesterday at 06:56 PM (edited) It’s so glaring how the show is ignoring Martins relationships with his parents, especially Ted. We’ve had numerous scenes of Andre saying how much he idolizes and has put Ted on a pedestal, but I still don’t know how Martin views his father. How Martin will react when he learns of his father’s affair with Leslie is still unknown to me as a viewer. It’s a missed opportunity bc from what I can see Ted treats Andre more as a son than Martin, whether that’s intentional or just the show neglecting Martin/Ted, that remains to be seen. The potential is there for Ted/Andre/Martin being layered and complex but it hasn’t hit the screen yet. I hope MVJ has this in the pipeline. Members alwaysAMC Posted yesterday at 06:59 PM Members Share Posted yesterday at 06:59 PM Decent episode - looking forward to next week. Pamela is in the previews - yay! And more Nicole/Vanessa... looks like they're finally sorting out and becoming more consistent with the best friend situation between Nicole/Vanessa and Dani/Pamela. It was only a matter of time.

Members Liberty City Posted yesterday at 06:59 PM Members Share Posted yesterday at 06:59 PM Please register in order to view this content date: Friday, April 11 | Ron Carlivati, Judy Tate | Phideaux Xavier A lot of anvils dropping today in the first segment already. Whew. Dani wants to mentor Samantha in her modeling career; Samantha, stick with Chelsea over Dani. You'll be happier. Shanice is constantly on the phone on the job; if I were her boss, I'd be putting her backside on notice and taking her phone while she is punched in. Be professional. Dana is beyond unhinged. There is no way she's going to last as long as others believe she will. This is no redeeming her, outside of occasional visits to the psychward's white padded walls without windows. So, Nicole had a miscarriage (is Andre hers?) and then couldn't find Ted when she needed him? Interesting. Well, it is about damn time Douglas goes to work and does his job. But why did Shanice call on her cell phone? That should be done on the hospital's phone, since it pertains to hospital business. Good on Eva for continuing to catch onto Dana's shenanigans; hoping this doesn't end poorly for her. I'm hoping the Richardsons will help her out, despite the original reasons she entered their orbit. Oh, the look of defeat on Ted's face. Here we go; we're beginning to unravel the history. It's coming. AND WE GET A SURGERY SCENE?! GH, what the hell are YOU doing when this soap is giving us this?! Vanessa doesn't want to talk about her marriage; she has Joey in person and Diego via text wooing her. So, Ted stepped out more than twenty years ago. And the other woman had the pregnancy "taken care of". Whew. Such a man's way of talking about this. Ted is top-of-the-line scum; he's no better than Bill Hamilton. #JusticeForAlan. That's what I've got to say. Dani, you're pushing the boundaries again. Reign it in. Dana is fully gaslighting Eva; I'm hoping that Eva is working Dana right now. Ted should be telling Nicole, or better yet, he should have kept his Johnson in his damn pants. I hate men. Doug? Working all day? Since when? Okay, Fatal Attraction shout-out with the "I will not be ignored!" line. Smart. I see you. Next week looks juicy.

Members Alan Posted yesterday at 07:02 PM Members Share Posted yesterday at 07:02 PM Today's episode was ok. I will need to be rewatch to properly absorb all of the exposition. The fact that Ted told Andre about the affair indicates that he may be considering telling Nicole if Dana doesn't go away.
Members MichaelGL Posted yesterday at 07:03 PM Members Share Posted yesterday at 07:03 PM And one other thing, maybe Martin is adopted due to Nicole’s inability to carry to term, and that’s why Nicole was trying so hard for a baby so desperately before Kat. Plus it explains why it drove a wedge between Ted and Nicole; her wanting to carry a child to term and Ted simply being satisfied that they had adopted a son to call their own. Just speculation of course, but there’s so much juicy potential with Ted and Nicole and their seemingly picture perfect family.
Members DemetriKane Posted yesterday at 07:06 PM Members Share Posted yesterday at 07:06 PM They still have time; I am very much interested in what Martin's reactions will be. I also think Ted and Andre's relationship is realistic. Just from my own life experience, I have seen people become better Aunts, Uncles, and Grandparents than they ever were as Parents.
Members Vanguardian53 Posted yesterday at 07:06 PM Members Share Posted yesterday at 07:06 PM This show is filled with misbehaving characters and it's so ironic that the seemingly most decent and hated are Ashley and Derek.
