A waste of time means thinking that a select people in the audience wants the show to fail. It's the showrunners who have to get their act together and continously sell their product.

And as I said yesterday and the day before - this frequent retelling of what happened all the time... is really irritating. That's Bradley Bell sh-t right there. So I'm gonna say it - after a great start... the show is struggling to maintain the dynamics of the first few weeks. I hope to God they get a good step going next week. As much as I want to constantly give them slack (because it's only month 2)... I'm also saying to myself - it's too early to feel so tired of these characters. Bradley Bell-ish writerisms all around. 

Again... nothing that can't be fixed. But work needs to be done, recasts need to be made. I didn't want to be a negative opinion... but I also can't lie. 

Another week, another chance. We'll see how it goes. 

MVJ does look up to Bell and wrote for BOLD so in some aspects it makes sense

Plus some of the stuff she wrote on BOLD I didn't care much for TBH

It is something where I maybe hope the Bob Guza mindset wins out on some execution points. Maybe it works for the show's new audience that may need constant reminders, or for the CBS loyalists, I don't know. Recapping plot will always be a part of daily soap opera. It's how you do it that is the issue, and I have never been a fan of the B&B model which thus far BTG is heavily adopting for that kind of material.

I think MVJ needs to be drawing much more from her GH years for this stuff but whatever its current woes B&B still gets those location remotes and had a very strong international audience for many years, so I could be wrong.

Sorry, that makes no sense unless you're going to call everything we post "a waste of time."

We all know the showrunners have to give us a product to applaud, and continuously.  But the truth is that a few people here HAVE been calling for the show to fail since the beginning -- and there's nothing wrong with pointing that out. It's not a waste of time.

We've been reading your posts on The BTG threads for months. You have a track record, and we know where you stand.

I'd say just give yourself a break. Typos, happen all the time, to everyone. Autocorrect? Dam* thing creates unintentionally funny stuff.

Mm-hmm... I just don't want to see in the future... normal excited fans critiquing... being mixed up with that other thing that I don't even want to comment about, since I am not giving attention seekers - attention. People have a right to critique without feeling like they are doing anything wrong. There is nothing wrong in being honest. Quite frankly... I prefer honesty than being fake-happy about everything. I'm not that girl. Nothing wrong with being that girl. I personally am not. I've been a cheerleader for BTG, but I am also not blind or deaf... So... I'm keeping optimistic and can't wait for the show to really rock my world. Some of the stories have amaaaazing potential. Just give Anita, Nicole or Leslie good dialogue... And we... Bold fans... have some sort of PTSD when it comes to feeling Bradley Bell-isms in anything else... I start really freaking out. We are traumatized (by bad writing) birds.  😂

The show is barely a month old and there are growing pains. There is some great constructive criticism here along with many dumb ass frivolous complaints.

It is what it is, but so far I'm enjoying the show. Oh yeah, they could really work on the editing and fade out. It's jarring at times.

Yabbut you're talking about someone who created a new account to slip out of Ignore files. Like it's a big deal to put the new account on Ignore, too, right? GMAB. 

But, Derek, to me was a problem from jump & still is one. I've seen zero improvement & they added maybe he is photophobic or photo-averse but if he is then why did he agree .... and, of course it just doesn't fit because firemen are always supposed to be 🔥🔥🔥which he definitely is not, plus during the somewhat odd documentary he had trouble with basic Q&A. So, it's like what in heck is going on with that character but he's not interesting enough to care.

I figure there might be hope for Martin. If not, no big deal. However, I am very concerned that Smitty, when he found out what Martin had said to a potential employer said that he shouldn't  have done that & then smiled. NO! Smitty should have been furious. But, I thought they were good with their kids. I mean talking to them & interrogating them.

Last but not least I like Andre with Dani & see no need for some questionable flirtation with Ashley.
