Members Soapsuds
I'm already fast forwarding scenes and again no cliffhanger. The stories being featured are so boring. Do better MVJ!! Jon Lindstrom needs to go. His character is as interesting as watching paint dry.
Members ReddFoxx
Doug has to be linked to the death of Joey's mother somehow. Otherwise Joey wouldn't be so determined to get him in his debt. The stage is set for Bill to have a heart attack and it will probably happen in court for maximum dramatic effect.
Members Vanguardian53
These unexpected character connections and still not a proper father/son connection for Ted and Martin. They should've been amongst the very first. Edited 15 hours ago by Vanguardian53
Members Soapsuds
I forget Martin is Ted's son. They've had zero interaction.

Members ranger1rg
I hyped this show for a few weeks, but wow....this week was not great, and today was just bad, in my opinion. A half dozen things happened that I would mock like crazy on the other soaps. -- When Chelsea and Kat showed Dani their purse creation, Dani looked at it for 5 seconds and then called it a masterpiece. Huh? I want this show to do better on stuff like that. -- Derek showed some chemistry and natural acting with Hayley. Maybe it's time to get him away from Basic Ashley. -- Hayley had to leave her takeout dinner with Bill to go back to Orphey's for BISCUITS? Are you kidding me? -- The hospital scenes were downright EMBARRASSING. Andre is a respected photographer, and yet he sets up those interviews right next to the nurses' station? And has a plain white wall behind the interviewees with an ugly potted plant beside them? They have to be punking us with that. -- And Andre's interviewing skills are even worse. He didn't ask one decent question for that "documentary." There was zero footage that anyone would want to see. Worst of all, he sent Ashley to save Derek's interview -- as if that was any worse than anyone else's. The whole thing was a total disaster and made me feel embarrassed for the show.
Members Maxim
Mm-hmm. I agree with you Please register in order to view this content .That's exactly my impression of today. And the entire week. Hope this is just growing pains and the rhythm is back next week. I am craving more Leslie... More Anita, please. Nicole... She elevates every scene. Less Bradley Bell dialogue and retelling of things. Less amateur actors and the Saint Ashley show. And... it's perfection.
Administrator Toups Posted 12 hours ago Author Administrator Share Posted 12 hours ago Everything about Andre/Ashley/Derek today was terrible. A doc interview in the hallway??? How is MVJ writing them so badly? Even if the stories were slow and not that great, I would at least want the characters to be somewhat interesting, but there's none of that. She had YEARS to come up with THIS? What? LOL Even the directing and editing of the scenes for them is so bad.
Members ReddFoxx
There is still a grace period to be had and we are only on episode 28. It's just a guess but Ashley and Derek probably were not part of the vision of the show at the start and were added to make sure that there were more White contract players in the cast. Ashley was in the promo before the show started as "the caregiver" which I thought was odd since it didn't really vibe with the rest of the characters featured in said promo. That part aside there is also the common soap trap of a perfect character that the writers try to force the audience to root for.
Members Vee
It lacks the intelligence and drive of Passions' first month, that's for sure.
Members Jdee43
This show really needs to up the crazy. What are they waiting for?
Members Vanguardian53
They started out promising but looking like they ended up becoming lazy. I don't know what they're waiting for but waiting is something they cannot afford for obvious reasons. Time is most clearly of the essence.
Members Paul Raven
Have we seen Nicole or Ted interact with ex bro in law Bill? Anita have a one on one with her ex son in law or grandchildren? Martin/Smitty and the twins with any of their relatives? Over a month in and these relationships should have been addressed, even briefly. Rather than wasting time on the documentary that was announced one day and up and running the next... Maybe they should have held back on introducing some characters eg Andre arriving now and getting involved with Dani and Ashley(if we must) That would have allowed for time to focus on those above mentioned relationships and not have asked viewers to try and keep track of so many characters at the beginning. Also, there would be more stuff happening at this time with new arrivals and plots. Edited 9 hours ago by Paul Raven
Members DemetriKane
I agree with @Taoboi it is refreshing to have two consensual adults (Dani and Andre) doing their thing for the time being. I can't remember if Joey asked what Doug's occupation was or if he already knew. Yea, I am ready for Bill's heart attack LBVS. We are going to get tons of great interactions at the hospital. Poor Hayley would probably get beat up! Should be fun. I agree. It wasn't a great weak. Seeing everyone be so excited to see Leslie is actually a bad sign IMO; villains are not meant to be on this often. We should be much more captivated by others on the canvas and we’re not. I hollered at that Biscuits line. I hate to say it but I absolutely agree. None of the storylines have hooked me just yet. We barely know him. He doesn't need any children right now. Very odd indeed. Nope. Nicole and Ted have not had scenes with Bill. They have been in the same room with him. Anita has had scenes with all her grandchildren, not the great-grands. I believe she had a moment with Bill at the police station and Martin told him not to disrespect his grandmother! Martin and Smitty's children were all present for Nicole's banquet, but I don't remember much interaction with other family members outside of taking a photo. I would have loved for a relative(Andre) to be staying at the Dupree family home. That could open it up for natural family scenes.
