When did Paulina have time to talk to the ADA about prosecuting EJ for Sami's rape?

And, if they have an ADA, why don't they ever promote that person?  That might saved EJ's life.

Who does everyone think shot him?

Cant wait to get to the Sami episodes.

I have a theory that I'll share in the DAYS monthly spoiler section

Maybe not this version of the story, but ideally if the show had really devoted the time and the energy to really explore Sami's choices and why she fell for her rapist, Will's pov is crucial. Teen Will shot EJ, Lucas went to prison for it, and it destroyed his family that he yearned for with the nearly the same fervor that Sami yearned for Marlena & Roman to be together.

Really good scriptwriting today. Nice that they've made Alison Sweeney's return worth it.

She and Carson Boatman were both excellent.

It really seemed like that's where they were going to go in 2011-2012 when Marlene McPherson and Darrell Ray Thomas were writing but the writer change put an end to that.

I think it would been really interesting for Will to have become a somewhat darker character, similar to what Sami was in the 90s.

Decades of bad storytelling have made EJ, Sami and everyone connected to them not just toxic, but radioactive.  I applaud the writers' decision to address some of the elephants that have been in the room for too long, but, man, is it gonna be messy; and I don't exactly have the confidence that DAYS will handle this appropriately either.  It's been a long, long, LONG time since DAYS was that kind of show.

Ironically, I don't think Will and Allie are necessary, although their responses are interesting, they never thought of EJ as a father.  I think the missing component is Carrie.  The sibling rivalry is what really starts everything, so it would be captivating to see that union healed.  Unfortunately, Carrie has such a tenuous relationship with Salem, that it might not have as much of an impact, but would provide closure.

Sami did mention Austin and Carrie forgave her so I think they are on decent terms.  I do agree that Carrie is sorely missed here.  Honestly, I would love to hear from Austin as well on this. Every time Belle/Sami snipe at one another I wish it was Carrie/Sami arguing.  Sami/Belle have never felt like peers or rivals to me even if the actresses are close in age.  Christie is

Lol!  I am like Days perfect viewer.  I am SHOCKED anytime someone shows up because I have long since forgotten their return was spoiled in 2021.

Sami telling Johnny about her history was almost a 7 minute scene - one of the show's longest scenes that I can remember.  I just wish Sami's daughters could've been there for this.  I mean, are we going to see something similar to this for Sydney?

Didn't she tell comatose EJ that Sydney sent her love? If so, I took that to mean we won't be lucky enough to get a present Sydney, too. Wish we would but not surprised.

It could've been the entire episode.

I actually wouldn't have minded that. An entire episode of Sami and Johnny discussing everything.

Soaps haven't done something like that in a while
