GH: April 2025 Discussion Thread

Just me declaring for myself (not in response to other posts.)

I self-identify as a fan (not stan) of Elizabeth, not "Liz".  (just me being picky with her name, but I am willing to be flexible if needed.)

I am a fan (not stan) of the Lucky&Elizabeth pairing but...
I personally will *NEVER* call them "L&L2". 

I totally reject the original L&L (Luke and Laura) pairing, I reject them in every way due to the rape history.
So therefore I personally will never associate Lucky&Elizabeth as second to those initials.

Thus they are simply "Lucky and Elizabeth" or "Elizabeth and Lucky" to me, and I don't need a smoosh name/initials for them.

I get it. It's an established shortcut. I'm not going to critique anyone for using it since it's been around for ages.  I simply cannot myself.

Same here. That and the Anna/Duke/Faison stuff got me back watching the show for several months, though I tuned out again once it seemed to be returning to its status quo.

One probably immensely unpopular idea that I hold is that any relationship that begins with rape should not qualify as iconic. It just seems definitional to me.

-- Broken record time, but WAY too much Sonny on this show. Too many days a week, too many scenes, too much dialogue. It's not working, and no one cares.

-- As I've said, Marco and Lucas have chemistry, but some of that conversation today was just bizarre. Just seemed really weird for guys who haven't been on a single date together.

-- Brad has always veered into weasel category, but now he's become insufferably weasel.

-- Why would Joss report on Vaughan to Brennan right in front of Vaughan? Makes no sense. Regardless, I think this is nothing more than a test to see if she'll report him, and that she'll be rewarded with her WSB credentials because of this nonsense.

-- Chris McKenna has already lost weight since starting as Brennan, and he's looking good. I hope Daniel Cosgrove gets the memo. He was so hot back in the day.

-- Another day without follow up on Ric and Elizabeth? Ugh.

That diner confused me. At first I thought Joss was walking into Bobbie's.

Frank spends his days getting new sets built.

I saw Lizz in the preview. I still think it's a big mistake to putt away from that story for days.

I'm worried about what it says regarding the Ric character. This isn't a spoiler, because I know nothing, but I worry that this show doesn't value Rick Hearst the way they should.
