I like all of them. My favourite used to be Dorothy, but I think now it's Blanche. But I love all the characters anyway. :)

Dorothy: Ma, 'disdam' is not a word.

Sophia: It certainly is!

Dorothy: Okay, prove it, use it in a sentence.

Sophia: You're no good at disdam game.

Best. Comedy. EVER. Dorothy's my favorite, too.

Dorothy: You'll have to excuse my mother. She suffered a slight stroke which rendered her totally annoying!

Blanche: This is strictly off the record but Dirk is nearly five years younger than I am.

Dorothy: In what, Blanche, dog years?

Dorothy: Blanche, before you start, realize that I am very vulnerable now and in no mood to hear a story about you and some yahoo cracker with four first names pawing at each other under a magnolia tree.

Dorothy: Oh back off Blanche! Not all of us are classified by the navy as a friendly port!

Rose: They call it a fly, but it's really a beetle?

Dorothy: Yes.

Rose: How do they know it's Spanish?

Dorothy: Because it wears a little sombrero, Rose!

Dorothy: No Rose...I'm upset because if Sonny Bono gets elected mayor of Palm Springs, he's going to make all the postmen wear leather bell bottoms and a fur vest.

My favorite episode is when Dorothy and Blanche are invited (by Rose) to participate in a live talk show about women who live together. Only when they're live on the air do they realize it's a show about the Lesbians of Miami, LoL! Sophia stands up and asks Dorothy what kind of pain and heartbreak this alternative lifestyle has meant for her mother, and Dorothy replies, "I don't know. I'll ask her tomorrow, when I visit her at... THE HOME." Sophia: "No more questions."

I have a lot of favourites. One of them is the one that Kenny mentioned when Blanche and Dorothy go on that talk show about lesbian lovers in Miami.

Another one is when Dorothy dates that guy from Beatlemania and breaks up the band.

I also like the episode when Dorothy dates that guy, Eddie, who turns out to be fabulous in bed.

The best line is when Dorothy and Sophia are talking about Eddie, and then Blanche storms in, and says, "Eddie's a love machine!?!?!"

And of course, I like the Henny Penny episode because they look so goofy in those outfits!!

I also like the murder mystery weekend one too. The best part is when Dorothy's reenacting the murder, and holds a knife up to Sophia's throat and Sophia screams, "Not part of the show! Not part of the show!"

My mom's favourite episode is the one where Blanche and Dorothy read Rose's diary from 4-H when she raised two pigs, and they think that she was writing about them. "I can't stand living with these two pigs. If one of them isn't keeping me up all night with her squealing, the other one is belching in my face."

And then another funny line is when Rose knocks on Sophia's door in the middle of the night:

Sophia: I'm not home. Please leave a message after the beep...beep.

Rose: Hi, this is Rose...

Oh, and the one when Blanche's brother comes, and tells them that he's gay. Dorothy: Clayton's a hobo?!?!

LOL I love that clip when Blanche dates the guy in the wheelchair. Sophia: We was po'!

    • I do think there's room for optimism, especially with Amazon making enough new episodes to last until December. There's still time for the various players to get their ducks in a row. Guess we'll know soon enough!
    • I do agree it's better to just have people pop back into town. I never understood why Roger needed a mask on an island, when neither Fletcher or Alex would've known who he was. And the vine...sigh. Couldn't he have just been sent crashing through a window or something?
    • When the announcement was first made, I did wonder if other plans were in the works. I guess we can always keep hoping, especially as the show has a small core cast.
    • @chrismlAbout Lisa, agree to disagree. Actually at the time she was the only thing my partner & I disagreed about. Naturally she was Team Vicky while I was steadfast as Team Lisa.  About John & twin paternity, I think that like the 3 pillows was a transitory idea someone had that no one else agreed with. More of the attempt to accommodate Philece. About MJ, co-sign, 100% agree, if there were more degrees I would claim them. About Wally & Felicia, always a fan. Mitch? Eh, take or leave. Although I do agree that WGE is a really striking man. Who have I left out? I don't know so that's all I got.

    • Dallas peaked early, IMO. Maybe not a fair statement as I’m still making my way through the first half of its run, but I think it’s hard to argue to point that S3 into S4 was its high point. Back to Knots. Wrapping up “And Never Brought to Mind.” Greg’s introduction kinda took me by surprise. I low-key dreaded his arrival bc I know he very quickly gets to the center of the show, but even though they wasted no time connecting him with Mac, Abby, Gary, and Karen, it still feels like a gradual intro. The juxtaposition of the ending of the Chip story with the heating up Abby’s plotting is quite symbolic of the changes the show was going through. I absolutely cannot imagine Kenny and Ginger having any part in any of this. Yall, the Gary/Val piano theme that they pull out from time to time is my FAVORITE. I find myself humming it constantly.
    • Bloodshed is inevitable now. It’s another reason I’m glad Black people aren’t getting involved in these protests. As awful as this is, I keep reminding myself that 54 percent of Latino men voted for Trump. These people were put in harm’s way by members of their own communities and sometimes even members of their own families. Too many people decided to touch the stove.
    • Maybe I'm still in denial, but nothing about Neighbours' ongoing social media output gives the vibe of a show that's ending. In today's 'Roundup' video, Alan Fletcher referenced that production finishes in five weeks, but in all the show's posts the cast are as jovial and lighthearted as ever. Remarkably so for people who are about to lose their jobs.    Perhaps they're just putting a brave face on things, and I know they approached the previous axing with a positive attitude. Maybe putting an upbeat face on things is a collective way of showing potential backers that there's still life in the show? Or is it possible that they already know the show has been saved, and we'll get an announcement next month when filming wraps and the show 'rests'?   Does any of that make sense?!
    • A very good week for male eye candy on GH. New Michael is beautiful, Curtis's arms looked great in that polo shirt, Cody looks even more handsome with his new haircut AND we got Marco in swim shorts rocking his lovely bod and chest fur.

    • Yeah when Jamey Giddens did breakdowns for DAYS, he would sometimes state in tweets that specific things were his idea that he had pitched to Ron.
