Oh okay, I thought Dani had slept on Bill's couch and meanwhile Bill&Hayley still in the limo then the helicopter, the next morning

Oh I see, yeah Nicole and Andre, same wardrobe as prior episode, convo continuing.
So then the "stay for dinner" doesn't make sense.

I know some people are having issues with Cady’s performance. She has a decades long proven track record of some of the best acting on daytime, IMO. Right now, I see an actress making strong choices to help flesh out a character who has NOTHING written on the page.

I’m assuming it’s the last minute insert into the story. If weeks of script are written and the writers are attempting to shoehorn in Cady’s character, that’s gonna take some time to right itself.

I liked today's show. Much better than Friday's episode.

Martin and Smitty are growing on me as a couple. I think we should have seen them with the kids from week one. Tyrell is most likely being bullied and if that's true this will be my favorite storyline.

  • Nicole, Eva knows Ms. "Sherry Carter" very well, haha. If only you knew.
  • This Dani feels different from the Dani from Friday. Again, some kind of bipolar-type behaviour.
  • Dani making that call so many have made before!
  • Ashley, scolding Andre won't help you. But you should be with him over Derek. No doubt. The chemistry is there.
  • Bradley is too smart for his twins and for his husband's own worth. He fully deserves better.
  • I appreciate that Nicole understands HIPPA laws; it's refreshing in today's television canvas.
  • Pamela is true blue; she's fully the bestie to Dani, and her vibe is thrilling. But what is this accent Cady McClain is putting on?
  • Samantha going from wanting to out her brother's troubles to covering for him? That's sisterhood right there. Amazing dynamics between her and Tyrell. But young, corny bastards? Well, then Martin, you would know since you are a bastard.
  • Bill has connections; we do love to see it, but how many of them did he secure by being in the Dupree inner circle?
  • Yes, Ms. Pamela is a woman of many traits. I love that she sticks by Dani, softly calling her out, while also kind of approving of her actions.
  • Ted is catching a bit onto Eva, and Nicole is onto Andre. These two know what's up.
  • Beer? No. One of the other options was more appealing... to me, any way.
  • So now Hayley notices the scratches in the photo? And that it was moved? I know I'm kind of OCD/attentive, but damn. That's major. And whew... a missing ensription? That's kind of keen. Ooh, Hayley is taking over for Bill where Dani is concerned. Ex-wife versus current wife/whöre incoming!
  • Auntie, sissy, etc. loving all of these nicknames, etc. It feels real and authentic.
  • Another magazine cover? We love seeing things like this! And there goes Hayley doing to Dani's things that she believes to have been done to her's.
  • Girl, put that drink down... and now you're calling your piece of dïck.
  • Bradley, in that apron? Like a housewife? They're really laying it on thick... he needs to get back to his passions: his job and career. Martin domesticated him too much.
  • Calcuius? Damn. Do not sign me up for that one, because I would have problems, too.
  • First thing out of the hospital... all I'd want to do is shower in my shower, put on clean, comfy pyjamas, and eat food that isn't hospital food.
  • Eva is now ignoring Mommie Dearest? Yeah, she's falling for Daddy and his family.
  • Oh, Dani is getting comfy with Andre, isn't she?

Pamela could become an exciting character. So I am eager to learn more about her, I love Cady when she plays characters with an edge, or have a secret. I probably would keep her single because it's too many couples on the canvas.

I would like to see her be tested with more actors first.

The show lacks a business storyline. So it would be cool to see Cady contribute to that.

someone correct me if i’m wrong, but beyond martin telling his mother that he’s thinking of run for president, i can’t recall any interaction between martin and his parents.

we’re in week4: given his dickish behavior toward his husband his ‘secret,’ it would be nice to know know what kind of relationship martin and ted have.

    • It has come up in this thread before that early on it was specified that Another World was set in Bay City, Michigan, but somewhere along the line the references shifted to Illinois-ish.    I have tried and failed to find any specific clear reference to Michigan, although there have been some circumstantial details that suggest Bay City is not in Illinois. i notice that the AW Bible begins by describing the location as simply "not far from Oakdale", but things do change (the bible calls Pat Cynthia) and we can't take that as pure canon.
    • At this point (and I've changed my tune several times), I'd fully rest the Cassadine family at this point.

    • The loooong pan around the room that ends in actual action with Maria and Edmund vs. just silently surveying the damage is very technically impressive. I don't think I've ever seen more than bits and pieces of this; my viewing was very spotty early on in '93/'94. I mostly remember the aftermath.
    • Disgusting how Gilly was written out. I'm glad I was not watching that travesty. Petronia Paley deserved better as well.   Interesting to me how so many viewers wanted Annie to succeed--the same way they were so invested in Marian/Brett.

Oh how I wish Angela Lansbury would have called out Les Moonves and put him on blast.
    • The first time I cried from a soap, Zane's death. I cried for 3 days.
    • Very happy to see GH hit #1 on Hulu! The show's been on fire and deserves the added eyeballs.
    • I really appreciated all the movement in today's episode.  It resonated with me that it felt like the sort of nervous energy that can surround a family after death. I want to point out the EJ scene.  I was riveted by his multi-layered performance. When he told Belle that he went to her because he loved her, and then saw that she was embarrassed by him, and rejected the part of her that was attracted to him.  It started to make even more sense why he would try to protect Johnny (who I still don't think shot him).  EJ feels like a pariah (although TBH, it wouldn't have hurt to bring Marlena some of that tea that everyone had been promising her all morning).  And he doesn't want to pass that along to his son by exposing him as the shooter.  It is interesting that we see none of those same concern between Kristen and lil'Rachel.
    • -- What a stupid party. Devon and Abby leave while Victor goes upstairs to the GCAC bar and talks with Kyle. Then we see Jack giving Nikki ANOTHER birthday toast as if the party has just begun. Huh??? -- This party perfectly encapsulates sweeps month for this show: lame, deadly, boring af. -- Once again, Cole gets really sick and no one insists on an ambulance or the ER. They really want him dead, don't they? Instead we hear multiple characters say "Gee, I hope Victoria doesn't catch it." Cole will be dead before Dumas. -- Kyle is really offering to make a contract with Victor so he can continue to see Claire? Jesus Wept. -- And then the shoe ends with Victor praising Nikki for softening his heart over the years -- after we've seen him treat Kyle, Michael, and Jack like sh_it for days.
