I think I can help with pointing to a period where to start watching. The show is available in youtube in multiple playlists that I'm sure someone already sent to you, so I won't do that. You can easily find them also by typing Edge of night and the year you are searching on the youtube search engine. Mid 1979 till the end (1984) are pretty much 90 percent there thanks to some amazing uploaders. I would suggest for a new viewer a starting episode of 6077 - it's the episode that begins the Mansion of the damned storyline. Before that... it's the end of a prior storyline and I found it very confusing and hard to watch, because you are getting the climax of something that was happening long time before you start.
You can start watching from 6077 - the episode where Nola gets the offer to do the movie script... and just go from there. Once you watch this episode... you won't be able to stop.
Quite frankly if someone had told me to start with this episode... I would have spared myself the struggle of the other 30-40 episodes before that.
If you need help with links or playlists... I can also help, and you can message me anytime.
I haven't had 1 free second the past few days, so I'm gonna have to catch up tomorrow. Judging by the amount of people posting here... I'm getting the feeling it's going to be GOOD.
Yeah... Trisha Mann-Grant totally stole the show today.
Idk if it was intentional or unintentional, but I've had a lot more sympathy for the characters that we were led to believe were the villains on this show, from the very beginning. And with Dana/Leslie, it was no different, especially after today.
And surprisingly, I was impressed by Brandon Claybon too, in that scene where Martin raged at Ted. I wish it had gone on a little longer. And I love how Smitty was there for him too.
I really hope the effects of this play out for a long time. This could have such a ripple effect across the canvas and I hope it does. Ted/Nicole, Dani/Andre, Kat/Tomas/Eva, Martin/Smitty, Bill/Naomi/Chelsea, there are so many possibilities.
And I know this is a nitpick, but why weren't Tyrell and Samantha at their grandparents' anniversary party?
I was thinking more unforeseen ones. I haven't thought of anything yet besides like you said...the setbacks with his daughters.
I also can see Hayley and Eva probably finally bonding.
Yes, Billy was all nostalgic about the Abbott home and didn't like the changes, yet he had no second thoughts or respect when completely renovating Chancellor.
He could have actually mentioned that misguided step as evidence to Diane that these type of changes can backfire.
