No, the gay characters have a major storyline and in fact the secret about one of them (which doesn't appear to be sex-related) is already a source of blackmail for the core family.

Apologies - I meant I read there's no real physical affection between them.

That's true so far, but as I said it's been two days and the marriage is clearly on the rocks. I am not going to jump to conclusions yet.

They investigated one lead and when that didn’t pan out, no one cared. Even the government just said oh well. Laziest writing ever.

Very.

James would have already solved Cyrus's murder, global warming, famine and hunger, and possibly figured out Michael is Sasha's baby daddy if given half the chance.

Well that would track with James since he was the one who saw Drew and Willow kissing.

This f*ckin show, man.

I’ll never understand how they constantly expect us to hate one character who does something bad but then love another character who does the exact same thing 🖕

And yeah, hiring Joss to work for the WSB is like hiring Luigi Mangione to work in the healthcare industry.

I did like Gio vs. Tracy though. They’re gonna be great together once the truth about Gio comes out.

And, I know Chase meant well with his suggestion to Brook Lynn but yeah… 🤮🤮

Indeed. All of this to get Joss to the WSB?

I actually think Rena's return has been a success in many ways - she fits right in again, livens up the show everyday she's on and has not missed a beat as Lois after decades. The problem is more that they've give her no real story or man of her own, because Frank does not want to invest in veteran story unless it's one of his chosen few. And she should be frontburner in her own right, not just supporting possibly the most boring couple on the show (and Kai and Trina are a close second).

I see your point.  I definitely agree she fits right in and hasn't missed a beat.  That is what makes the whole return more frustrating to me.  Lois doesn't need to spend all her time with her boring spawn and her infertile husband. At this point Brook and Chase could leave the show forever and I wouldn't miss them at all.  It's a shame that this is what Ned and Lois's daughter has become.

I am embarrassed to admit this, but I actually thought Trina/Kai were kind of cute the last few days.  That doesn't excuse the non story of this pairing or anything.  It's just the first time I saw a bit of spark between the actors.

*falls out*

jk. I admit that I like them together, but part of that is down to keeping them (or most couples on this show) out of forced situations vs situations where their personalities just naturally come together.

I'm sorry that you are feeling frustrated by what's going on with Lois. It definitely is feeling like the writers don't know what to do with Rena. Sad since her return started off good and strong. But you know my thoughts on the start of it. Now? Ewww.

I hope so.

GH Fans seem to need Death Wishes, rather than Watches. All the fans wishing an end to Sonny. Now fans wishing an end to Drew. Prior Cyrus. We're just lucky he is finally dead daid.

It was real posting about GH with ya'll but BTG has debuted and I only have time/room for one daytime soap. I may check in from time to time but I cant play catch up anymore. This Joss as WSB agent is a good time to bow out

Where is James? I want to see him every week.

I like where they are going with Joss and Gio, but Trina and Kai are still boring.

I think that Drew will go full villain and then be killed off. Michael will then return and Willow will reunite with him.

I feel you on that. I have been enjoying you on BOTH boards.

And while I'll be starting on this week this weekend...that Joss plot turn is making me hold off cuz...WHY?

Are they setting up Drew to be killed off?

tbf, it seem like they have been setting up for a murder mystery for ages with the target always moving.  So long that...especially with Drew...it has been a running joke (at least with me) here on the board.

I think the lying about Jason to the cops though is one huge step forward more in that direction. He’s playing with fire now and literally only has Willow as an ally and I guess Martin who’s on the payroll.

Technically Marty is Willow's atty. not Drew's!

Hmmm...I am more of the mind that Drew will just have a huge downfall and won't be killed off.  I could absolutely be wrong, but I actually think that would be more satisfying to see him lose everything.
