And that bubble at the end. lol. But like I said...scruff really and truly be making all the difference.

Hmmm. It's been so long, I'm not sure where CK falls on that. I do at least see her vs Damian when he gets to town. I just threw the love interest idea out there because of the odd scene between her and Billy who haven't had a scene since Victor got Chancellor and it's been longer since they referenced their relationship vs their workingship. So it made me go hmmm. I don't know about her and Daniel given how their relationship ended, but weirder things have happened.

re: Amy. I was not watching when Amy was around, but this was mentioned here as well. I would love to see her interact with people that are still on the canvas that knew her and find it odd she has not. Moreso because Lauren has been active as of late and given the stories they are in are currently centered (for Amy it's Damian, for Lauren all things Victor/Sharon) so a nice meet-up at Crimson Lights to rehash the stories while seeing how the other is doing would be nice to see. As for the other question...I continue to feel Damian already knows all of this and is self-made, but playing like he is not. But that's off of his first meeting with Nate. I'm still finishing off last week so we'll see.

Yep. I love MO's new hairstyle, too.

And...we have to disagree. lol. I just feel HK plays psycho better than a Mary Sue.

Oh, lord. Not things getting interesting. Now that the Sharon storyline appears to be finally wrapping up, it has surprised me how much the many parts of stories I want to see appear to be moving.

I'm not even going to lie. I love that the Damian storyline has started to move after being a C plot most of last week. And just watching the first meeting between Damian and Nate, I'm still going to say what I've already said...either he already knows who Nate is and is planning something OR he already knows who Nate is because the company he is working for is HIS company and he is still planning something. Probably brotherly revenge. And I was thinking earlier that perhaps since there is a void where Tucker was, he will be taking that spot. But I found the whole scenes of them was just full of intrigue from how CO played it.

We know how I feel about HotHead Nick so I'll just...hush. lol. That said the energy that Ray Wise continues to bring to Ian has been crazy to watch. I love how he plays his menace so under the surface to the other characters, but he plays it so clear for the audience to see. He was sooooo taunting Nick to swing. Loved it. And I'm surprised that Sharon still saw Cameron, but I guess she's still drugged. Meanwhile...not Mariah/Tessa about to get a storyline as a result of Ian's return. Because Tessa has been looking at Ian these last two episodes like she could be a potential Ian convert...which given her past would make sense. She managed to get a second chance so she might be willing to see the good in Ian...if it even exist.

And now Jordan is starting her side of the story. She's been itching to run into Claire. And I thought that near miss at Crimson Light was so well done from the actresses and the look on Claire's face when she heard the order to the dramatic music and camera angles.

Awww. Danny gone again. I'm always here for Danny/Daniel scenes.

My least fave part was (sadly) Jack, Diane, and Kyle. I've over that repetitive conversation.

How? How could they waste last week's growing momentum? How? Of course, I will probably be eating my words by Friday.

Outside of two things (okay THREE if I count Shirtless Nate), this episode was nothing, but filler. Cuz I don't care for Adam/Chelesa or the OCD storyline.

What I did care about was the simmering tension slowly growing between Chance/Summer/Kyle/Claire. There were some really good camera angles as they showed more and more how isolated Summer felt from the growing Kyle/Claire/Harrison bond. And AL definitely sold it and the snark. Kinda ew? on how Harrison knew about Kyle/Claire. But I was just happy to see Summer with Chance, out and about and Connor Floyd looking oooh so hot. But ugh! That whole conversation Chance had with Summer had me mentally screaming. They may be 'on break,' but he has Summer's number. And it was so adult that he listened to her and still called her out on her growing jealousy and the fact that lives change. Why go back to a boy when she's finally with a MAN??

And the highlight was Audra/Nate. God, they really have grown as a couple. And just watching them in scenes, you feel the chemistry. You see the playfulness. And how accepting they are of each other. And they both look HOT. SD has been looking like a snack for weeks so I'm so happy they got him out of that shirt. lol. That said...the coda...I WAS RIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I KNEW IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Though I liked the humor Audra brought to that scene.

So what game is Daiman playing? Hmmm.

Or...?  Cameron isn't just a fig newton of her imagination.

Oh, no. I've been floating that theory since before Heather was killed. So you aren't alone on that one.

I actually was wondering if it was Cameron behind it all in the first place. Because JG kept playing with whether Sharon was seeing him or not. And the direction of scenes were like he appeared when no one else were around. But then there would be scenes when he was there when others were around. So I thought she was drugged. Especially once Mariah found out Sharon was still taking her meds (because they thought Sharon was off her meds), but Cameron kept appearing. So I had hoped that meant he was actually alive. But then...enter Ian and Jordan. I...was disappointed a little bit because it seem like it might actually be him. They really played it like that more than just a figment. But alas.

How do you know, though, Sharon wasn't imagining those other people in the room?

Le sigh, as soon as I saw Chelsea on yesterday’s episode I felt the energy was sucked out of the show lol.

And more OCD nonsense, I’m sorry for the poor preteen actor who plays Connor has been given this  [!@#$%^&*] to play out lol.

I too loved the Chance & Summer scenes and glad that they again had another mature yet romantic dinner. I think the next thing to do to save Summer from missing her old whipping boy would be for Chance & Summer take a nice little trip with Harrison & Dom or something to maybe realize they want their own family?

And yes to Nate & Audra scenes…wow those well done. LOL at the humor too….I had to rewind because I thought Nate told Audra she had stinky feet (caressing them no less) but then realized it was a joke

And the funny thing is that Chelsea was not at all bugging me. But that whole storyline and pairing her with Adam again is just a snoozefest. Sally has more potential that holds my interest with Billy and the Giggly Heffa and I don't like the latter two.

I wish Summer could see the catch that she has in front of her. Because if it had been Kyle and she was talking about another guy, I just don't feel that it would go down the same way. At all. Chance has clear characteristics that make him a catch. And she caught him. So her feeling some kinda way about Kyle/Claire, while in character for Summer, is just eye-rolling. If it starts to go the way this storyline appears to be going, I do hope that Chance still has a POV and fights for her at least.

LOL. If you had told me that Nate/Audra would come across as a real couple a year ago, I would have laughed. But...here we are.

    • The Bell soaps, B&B and Y&R: cannot watch. If I went by the last time I did I would have to give them both D- but I really don't think it counts when you're not a daily watcher.  DAYS: B+ (Now this is with the knowledge that for years I have given this show a D- because I've been a fan for too long to give it the F it deserved.) GH: A+ (With Korte driving this bus to me the show is so much better! IMO we just had the best NB in so many years I cannot count!) BTG: A solid (Things I love, a few I do not, nothing I hate, still find it in general remarkable.) As always, thanks for doing this thread. I count it. I always look for it & I always post.
    • Okay, I continue to maintain that what is so good about this particular reveal followed by umbrella storyline is that you can see & understand many different points of view where there is not one bad guy or one 100% right person.  About your stated opinion, that Lois & Gloria did the right thing, you know that this was technically an illegal adoption? For it to have been legal the father, if known, would have to have been informed & have signed off on terminating his own paternal rights. And, of course, it is clear how many people they lied to.  Personally I feel like Lois is going to take the biggest "public" blame with Lulu a close second in the blame category. I am looking forward to a tongue lashing I hope Brook Lynn gives to Gloria. I continue to be more than annoyed with Dante. First his attitude toward Gio with regards to Rocco & a drinking game & its results. Second his attitude toward Lulu. Meanwhile enjoying the show every day!
    • Lois and Gloria did the right thing I feel knowing it was Camila that raised Gio has BL feeling some jealousy No one is saying that Camila was a bad mother to Gio I believe it will be Gio saying that Camila was great to him, thanking Lois and Gloria to get BL to see truth
    • Its realistic for Dani and  true of how the character thinks and operates. We've known her long enough to by that this would be consistent with her past characterizatioin
    • Random takes: - What was even the point of that jeweler guy? Also—Dani was borderline harassing him. - I know I’m probably in the minority here, but I want Jacob and Kat to happen. I need something messy to completely dismantle the Duprees—and Katomas just isn’t cutting it.  - I officially can’t stand Jacob and his wife. Same goes for Anita and Vernon. - Hayley’s corset was just as ugly as it looked uncomfortable. - I genuinely don’t remember when or how Derek and Ashley reconciled—and I’m someone who didn’t even mind their storyline! LMAO. - Tuesday’s episode was a mess. - Dani finding out about Hayley’s pregnancy and immediately thinking, “She’s faking it”—huh?! What writer thought that was a realistic reaction? I get denial, but that leap was absurd. I agree the ‘Leslie Victorious’ moment was way OTT. But hey, at least I wasn’t yawning. The following episode, where she handed over her daughter’s last few belongings was much better. - I can’t with the constant back-and-forth between Orphey Gene’s and the Country Club. I forgot this was such a soap trope, but even back in my loyal viewer days (late ‘90s, early 2000s), it wasn’t this bad. While GH has a ton of beautiful sets, we’re stuck with the same three—and half of them are ugly. Also: it’s been way too long since we had a party, gala, or any kind of event. I know the Richardsons’ anniversary gala (back in late April) has had a big ripple effect, but I was kinda getting used to those large-scale episodes. Fingers crossed they don’t go with Guza.
    • The horrific comments execs and writers make when they justify rape storylines or keeping rapists as love interests is just so icky. I remember Ron Carlivati's comments about the reraping of Marty storyline on OLTL. Made my skin crawl.  No matter what you think of her, Susan Lucci could have demanded front burner storylines but she never did. She was happy to be part of an ensemble. I never got that vibe from Zimmer.  For me, Reva was just not a character I cared that much about after a certain point no matter how talented Zimmer is/was. I think Zimmer had a keener eye for what made a good storyline, but she was less willing to take a backseat if it meant someone else got to shine. I'm trying to recall if she ever mentions Michelle Forbes in her book--one of the few times the viewers did not care about Reva in a storyline. My sense is if she did, it was probably some backhanded remark about how she had to show Forbes the ropes.
    • GH was good? I havent watched since Joss went away to do her traininig and Lulu had just called Brooklyn out for having Dante's baby and not telling him
    • BTG: A-  DAYS: B+  Eastenders: C
    • There was a rumor that Jean will die and that’s probably why she’s back then
    • There has been some confusion about Michael & facial burns. Please see this post: https://bsky.app/profile/shallotpeel.bsky.social/post/3lqkrryu54226 I've chosen to put this here instead of the Classic Thread because it is now with the appearance of recast Michael that this has come up. Different places online, including at least one podcast, remarks have been made about how remarkable it is that he is without facial scarring. Other fans say it was clear from the first that he did not have facial burns. What is included in this post is 2 screengrabs where you can see his face at the hospital & a very quick edit of that day in the hospital.
