(Continuing my scene, apologies, it's fan fiction, but there is so much that could be going on here, so many juicy opportunities):

Steffy:  Wait.  Wait a minute - what pheremone?  what are you talking about Brooke?, because I have no idea....Daphne what is she talking about?  I don't know about anything to do with the formula of the cologne or anything WRONG with it, I don't know anything about it, and

Brooke:  Why don't you ask her?  She's standing right here.  Daphne?  You have a tongue? Did Steffy know about the cologne?  Whose Idea was it to "spike" the cologne, you know, I mean....HAHA (sarcastic laugh) - like people spike the drink of an alcoholic, RIGHT, who would know about THAT?? WHO told you to do it Daphne? ??? (stares Daphne and Steffy down)

Daphne (shifts eyes).  "Steffy....she told me to come up with an idea to sabotage the cologne, and..."

Steffy (cutting her off)- NO, no I did not Daphne, that is a LIE, that is a LIE, and you know that all I wanted was for you and Carter to....well (throws hands up, and says too much), the PLAN was to get to CARTER and....

Brooke (cutting Steffy off):  AND THERE IT IS, isn't it?  Your PLAN was to have Daphne seduce CARTER.  AND TAKE FROM HOPE.  AGAIN.  Under the LIE of it JUST being about Forrester.

(enter Taylor, head down talking):  Steffy I forgot about what you said about Kelly's missing retainer and I found it in the bathroom when I was....(looks up from half shutting the door, sees all the people)....'wait what's happening, I'm sorry I am interrupting something...oh my gosh what's everyone doing here ..."

Brooke:  OH, welcome, look who it is, Ridge's repeat trick!  the SECOND CHOICE, HERE SHE IS FOLKS all TOASTY warm from Ridge's BED!   

Eric:  Brooke, maybe this isn't the greatest time, and I know how upset everyone is, so maybe let's think a little bit more about it before we say too much that cannot be taken back.

Brooke:  Eric, I'm sorry.  I'm really sorry that you will hear this, but I've listened to a lot from these people over the years, and I've beaten myself up about it.  I am going to SPEAK NOW.  Steffy, I'll tell you what you did....it wasn't just about getting Forrester back - was it?  It was also about wrecking Hope's life - like it always is.  One could certainly see it that way, and I'm allowed to do that.  WE are allowed to do that.  YOU have a problem Steffy.  YOU do.  

Finn:  Ok everyone get your bearings, get emotions under control....

Brooke:  Oh shut up you little PUKE.  You got here all of about 5 minutes ago in the grand scheme of things, and YOU KNOW NOTHING.  Steffy - let's talk about your hatred for my daughter.  YOU bounced back and forth between Liam and Wyatt just as much as Hope did....and I do not believe for one second that it was as much of you CARING about Liam and Wyatt - no.  It was about TAKING from Hope.  JUST LIKE IT IS RIGHT NOW.  Otherwise WHY would you be focused on wrecking Hope's personal life?  In the NAME of "getting Forrester back"....you went after Hope.  What does "GETTING FORRESTER BACK" even MEAN, people??  FROM WHO?  From ME?  I HAVE PROVEN myself YEAR after year in my BELIEF for ALL of you.  TO MY DETRIMENT I BELIEVED.  MY BELIEF for this company. REMEMBER BELIEF?  YOU ARE DESPICABLE.

Ridge:  Wait.  Just wait, you will not speak to my daughter...

Brooke:  GOD. SHUT. UP.  TALK to YOUR Daughter HOW?  YOU CALLED MY DAUGHTER a BITCH and a SLUT.  You forgot that a slut from the Valley is also a chemist.  You have forgotten a LOT Ridge.  You need to have your Son In Law get you on the schedule for a BRAIN scan.  

Taylor:  I'm sorry, I think this was a bad time, and I don't know exactly what's going on here but I'd appreciate a little bit of respect

Brooke:  You too, Taylor.  SHUT. UP.  Respect? You can STOP right there. You will NEVER get that from me, ever ever AGAIN. You and your BROKEN heart and Chakras and whatever other spiritual garbage you've woven together.  JUST GET OUT.  Ridge, go fix her Chakras....repeatedly for all I care.  Go Fix Chakras, go do THAT.

Donna, Eric, Katie, Hope, Carter - you stay.  If everyone else could leave us alone for about 10 minutes, we will have a staff meeting in the board room at 4:00 this afternoon.  I need to be with....the people I know are my real family for a few minutes.  You know what I don't understand? EVERY ONE of you has a vested interest in this company.  ME TOO. I ALWAYS HAVE.  And WE need to put this company back on track and make it the success that Stephanie always wanted.

The HOUSE that she built, and I will NOT let even her own granddaughter and son WILLINGLY put it at risk.  I just will not and I won't EVER apologize for that.  I am SHOCKED that your OWN MOTHER and GRANDMOTHER meant SO LITTLE to you.  She meant SO LITTLE that you'd let your personal lives get in the way of doing something innovative and LIFE saving to this company.  We SKEW OLD.  It was the WHOLE POINT of Hope for the Future.  I STILL have not made a decision on that, but it's a FACT we skew old.  You are STUPID not to see it.  All Carter and Hope were trying to do is make us RELEVANT again.  

Shut the door behind you.  Out.

Ridge ain't @#$.

 

I did like over these next set of episodes that Brooke was talking to Hope (and later Katie) about how she was feeling. Her emotions. It just stood out to me because with this show it can be plot and fashion and sometimes a character does not get a breather.

 

And it was nice to see Donna. It was so abrupt. And of course she ran and told Brooke about Ridge and Taylee. 

 

I hope that means that once Brooke gets the crying out of her that she will put on her businesswoman clothes and run that CEO position better than Ridge ever could.

 

Of course given that Next Week Promo...we'll see.

Wow...they are retconning the hell out of Luna's storyline! But, Jack Finnegan should have ALWAYS been the one who was Luna's father. It was the only thing that would have made Li's hatred of her sister to make sense...not the whole "Remember when I got you a job at the hospital gift shop?" LOL. Like, who the hell cares? But, sleeping with her husband and having him father her child, then it would have made sense. I feel like Luna's going to wiggle out of her serial killer days, too...which also should have NEVER happened. She should have just turned out to be a bad girl which the show desperately needs in that age-range. Yawn inducing Elektra ain't going to cut it.

Sickly Taylee is so obsessed with him that she doesn't see anything else.

Poor RB was doomed from the start with perhaps the worst recasting on the show ever. They never should have let Krista go in the first place. She was perfect.

Although this is the show where Ridge and Bridget made out, so anything is possible.

Can they reveal that this is not Taylor, but some psychotic woman who killed the real one in Rome and took her identity. Bradley can steal from Orphan and make it that she has escaped an insane asylum and has been obsessed with Bridge/Tridge all her life. Won't be any worse than revealing that Luna is a serial killer. The same type of Bradley Bell - drivel.

And it would explain why she is so boring right now. I want this to NOT be Taylor so much. It's offensive to expect of us the viewers to not cringe when JMW calls this woman - mom. No offense to JMW, but especially with the way they are writing her lately (judgmental, prudish matron)... she looks like her mother's older, emotionally unstable... sister.

      Martin and Smitty's kids not being there seemed like a glaring omission. Also, Naomi and Jacob weren't there as well. I know some of this is probably budget, but it seems like there could be a way to still have them all there.

      Dani had a flashback of Dani getting ready for an event with Bill. The gown she wore in the flashback was light green and elegant and gorgeous. The light green flashback dress was quite different than the red/orange/lilac swirling print beaded gown that Dani is wearing to Nicole's anniversary party.   But there was clearly the show's intention to have the Dupree women (except for Nicole) wearing shades of red.   I love Anita but the red gown that she's wearing to the anniversary party -- not flattering.

      Party wardrobe color theme: Good Queen Nicole is in a solid gold gown. The other Dupree women (plus Smitty) are wearing shades of red/pink (with purple accents) -- Anita, Dani, Chelsea, Kat, in dresses. -- Smitty in white shirt and maroon jacket. (did not see Naomi?) "The help" Eva and Mona are in black. Antagonist queen Leslie/Dana in a black/gold gown. The men (except for Smitty) are wearing black. Ted - white shirt, black tie, black jacket. (Ted's jacket was shiny with back polka dots on black background) Vernon - black turtleneck, white dress shirt over it, black jacket (no tie). Andre - black T-shirt, gold chain, black jacket. Martin - black shirt, black tie, black jacket. Dr. Carlton Fitzgerald - white shirt, black tie, black jacket. (did not see Jacob?) I didn't see Naomi and Jacob at the party, but perhaps they arrive later? The evening is not over yet.

      I enjoyed his scenes with Johnny. Both of their perspectives make perfect sense to me and are completely relatable. There’s no right or wrong person in this situation and I like that. LH  does pretty well when Tate is angry too, but I also liked the way that he comforted Johnny in the end. Days is finally remembering that they’re cousins. And, Johnny looked hot in the beginning   Btw, Johnny going to work for Xander? That could be interesting. And, also can cause some more animosity between him and EJ.  And again, Marlena/Belle were great. Scenes like theirs really seem to be commonplace under Paula/Jeanne and I couldn’t be happier that they are. It’s helps us get a much better understanding of these characters and why they do the things that they do and feel the way that they feel. Marlena supporting Belle was a bit of surprise, considering her insane reaction when she walked in on EJ and Belle, but I also feel that it’s totally in character for her, both as a psychiatrist and as Belle’s mother.  As for Sophia and Amy… I miss the first Sophia lol but I can’t help but think that Amy suddenly being so nice is foreshadowing of something. Either that, or Paula/Jeanne aren’t biased against her

      @alwaysAMC Great mini-review as always.  That Gilly story is...certainly one I could not forget... I imagine a number of viewers were shocked with the temporary recast. It was revealed in the soap magazines, as was the news about Frank Beaty's breakdown, I think. I think Wolf had some statements or an interview at the time but very little. I wish someone could interview him. He did a good job under extremely tough circumstances.  For some reason I have a vague memory of him in the Marian getup but that's probably not right.  I'm glad you have appreciated the material with Susan after a shaky start. I always enjoyed her, and she was the only love interest I liked Nick with.

When Doug died on May 1st, 1989, it was a huge loss to the show, the other actors & also to the fans.
