If this show even thinks about killing off Felicia, it'll be Frankie Frame's death all over again and GH will deservedly be cancelled.

How many murder and death storylines have been on this show this year?  They dwell on every death for days and weeks, too.  Totally uninteresting, as is another serial killer story.  There was no good reason to kill off Dex.  He was pleasantly harmless.  They should have killed off Gio or TJ instead.  They need to recast Lucas, too, if they want to keep that character around.

The best part of the show is the Drew-Michael drama that's impacting the other characters.  Cameron Mathison has such a good hire and this storyline is the only one during his whole character's arc that's been interesting.  He needs more meaty dramatic material like this and being the traditional philandering Quartermaine man.  It's a bummer Chad Duel is apparently leaving and ending this family feud prematurely.  I wonder why?  They should recast with a handsome newbie.

Chad's leaving is temporary. He & the show intend on his returning. Just needed some personal time.

Per Frank Valentini's social media, there are no plans to recast the role of Michael.

Is Felicia really that beloved and as important to GH in 2024 as Frankie was to AW back then? I would think maybe were this the mid 90s but....

Yes to everything. But Gio is not even worth killing. He should return home before Brook Lynn becomes a grown man's mother and Tracy becomes 100 years old in order for the story to make sense.

Nah. Gio can be killed and never return. Either way, cutting him wouldn't cause discourse to the canvas at all. The never-ending smiling can stop. Nice guy (actor), but totally a waste of money.

Hehe. Nope. As was mentioned a few days ago and I popped up and added, he...for now...is that character that is in not majorly connected to half the town and that's a godsend. And I like how the actor has improved somewhat. But the writing is simply letting him down. So I'll take a ship out, like TJ who the writing is letting down but not the extent of Gio, and poof! Gone.

 

 

Me?  I'd be fine with killing off Gio AND TJ...along with about 35 other characters.  (C'mon, Cyrus, time is money!)

Who is Gio and what is his purpose? I thought he was a SORASed version of Olivia's son until I saw this was just some other random kid hanging around the Q mansion

Gio was created for the sole purpose that Frank Valentini wanted to hire Giovanni Mazza, which is not only stupid, but a waste of contractual money. Killing him off before this poorly-executed/all-too-hinted retcon Brook Lynn/Dante child becomes legitimate is the only thing to do. Kill him, give him a two-second funeral and move TF on with other stories. His never-ending serial killer smile and violin can go with him.

All the more reason Giovanni Mazza should have been a recast Cam. They could’ve said that he learned the violin while he was at Stanford lol

And, we would have been spared Gio getting lost in the shuffle this year.

This has been my point from the beginning: Mazza would have been an adequate Cameron recast. As talented as William Lipton? No. But he would have done fine in the role. But I get it: Frank and company wanted to leave the door wide-open for Lipton's return stints.

Honestly, if you were tuning into GH for the first time, you’d probably think Lulu and Tracy were actual mother/daughter based on their interaction and chemistry.
