Members BetterForgotten Posted October 13, 2024 Members Share Posted October 13, 2024 (edited) I guess the question is why do they feel they need Ed Scott back on the producing team after all this time and after not having a Senior Producer on the team for this recent Griffith regime to date? Also, why did this warrant an announcement to an industry trade like Deadline? That doesn’t happen when producers who are not EP’s come in and out of various soaps. Are production matters so messy and fiscally irresponsible that they need someone like Scott to come in and sort out after all this time? They seemed more interested in grabbing attention and putting down other posters. Back to Mr Scott. As Toups stated the announcement makes one think there is more to it, but upon reflection, I'm starting to think it is just some backstage shuffling and Scott's experience is needed to get the production side of things working more smoothly. I believe their last comment was “F**k this racist show” in regards to Cane getting all of Devon’s money or whatever happen at the time.
