She could confide in Sophia that she was the one driving the car, and then Sophia could expose it to play the hero and look good in Tate’s eyes.

Glad we got Marlena today and not Hattie.

Usually, i like when Marlena shrinks Brady, but with it being mostly about Kristen today, I wasn’t that interested. It’s definitely time to put an end to that toxic relationship. Why not put her back with Alex? I know it was a strike story, but their fling seemed very Ron-like. 

Kristen’s part in Sarah’s paralysis is still forced and unnecessary. And not for nothing, if Kristen wants Rolf to make money for Dimera, can’t he just market the technology that kept Stefan alive when he had no heart or brain activity?

I did like the Eric/Holly scene and I don’t mind Holly deciding to go to Paris to talk to Nicole. But I really hope that this isn’t the end of this storyline. It sucks that Nicole/AZ isn’t a part of this but I really hope Eric and Holly’s relationship remains like this for a while. Holly’s relationship with EJ and her breaking up with Tate could lead to something good happening for everyone involved.

Speaking of Tate, I like that he’s not immediately rushing into something with Sophia. Let this all play out for a little while before we reach the climax of this story. And with Holly going to Paris for a while, something good may happen. Like what I suggested in my previous post in this thread, for example.

Overall,  I don't even understand why Kristen is on the show.  She doesn't need to be at all.  I am sure SH is a lovely woman, but Kristen seems to get interjected into plots she doesn't belong in and doesn't bring much to the table character wise.  Her and Brady are beyond tired at this point and if Kristen disappeared for months or years I wouldn't even notice.

Because the WRITER wants her there; as much as I like Stacy Haiduk, I am hoping she's one of the ones just cut right-out when the new regime takes over.

I LOVE the character of Kristen.  I always have, but SH isn't really right for the role and it's especially apparent when they used to switch her out with ED at times.  Kristen is ED's role and that's not going to change no matter what.  I'd rather they bring back Peter with Brooks or a recast, but I guess with Stefan/EJ/Chad it's a little redundant to have another Dimera son.  I'd probably cut Stefan to make room for Peter though.

Agreed on all. Stefan was no longer useful to the canvas once Tyler Christopher was replaced. He should have stayed dead. SH as Kristen just does NOT work. The fact that Brady and Kristen look to be the same age is ridiculous (I'm probably one of few who would gladly welcome Kyle Lowder back to the role of Brady). 

And when the time comes that John Black is written off, I hope Eileen tags in and plays Kristen, if nothing else than for the flashbacks.

I liked KL as Brady too.  EM is fine as well.  I think KL had more chemistry with Nadia and is more age appropriate, but EM is the better actor.  I believe since Kyle's Brady got such awful writing in the beginning (the insane hatred for Marlena) that it taints people's view of his Brady.  I never thought he was bad.

It's because the "writer" writes for actor and not character. The writing for Davidson's Kristen was a 180° on Haiduk's Kristen. One had heart and intent, while the other was completely unhinged with face masks.

Regardless of actress, I don't think the character of Kristen has "heart", except for *maybe* her first year on the show decades ago. 
Kristen is a sociopath.

Maggie: Oh OK (totally forgetting he's a former kidnapper, drug mule, who shot Marlena, and has a vendetta against Brady)  I thought Maggie was smarter after Konstantin, but it was rather easy to appease her.

Also, why is Kristen even on Marlena's radar?  They haven't spoken in months. Brady didn't bring her up.  The last time she met with Brady, she noted that he still loved Theresa.  So, why is she suddenly focused on Kristen?

Finally, I hate that they are going back to the well of Rolf magically curing people.  Firstly, why would Sarah, a woman of science, take Rolf's cure?  Secondly, it feels like such a cop out to keep going back to the same resolve for every storyline that needs to be reversed.

Also I would totally kill Rolf and have a Whodunit? Storyline made, he's a useless character and I would love for Some DiMeras to not come back from the dead again lol

Here's the thing, if Dr. Mark Greene did the surgery to reverse Sarah's paralysis, then you get an umbrella story.  Suddenly, Xander, Sarah, and Maggie are beholden to Mark.  We get some sympathy built up, so when the F-Abby reveal comes, there's some conflict.

But, Rolf's just going to take off on his submarine, and everyone will forget about it in a month.  Until Fiona is revealed.

I know I’m in the minority as I’m a big fan of the DiMera clan and dynamics as a whole so I like having a female DiMera on canvas even if it’s SH playing Kristen. I also love that there’s a female DiMera Spawn as well in Rachel. I also think SH has great chemistry with her mother onscreen siblings. Obviously in a perfect world we’d have Eileen.

Also I was a bigger fan of KL as Brady as EM was once again playing the recast of a superior performer IMO just like on Passions. It’s been 16 years so I’ve obviously accepted him and he’s had good chemistry with most of the women he’s been paired with. I do hate that KL is Rex now though.

Sounds like a good idea! It could ultimately even lead to some kind of feud between Chad and Xander. 

This stuff with Rolf is just so unnecessary. I seriously hope we never see him again after Ron is gone.
