BTW, Bradley has done this storyline before, but it was Stephanie's fake heart attack that manipulated Ridge into marrying Taylor.

It would be kinda great if Taylor is faking this in order to get to Ridge. With a fake-heart transplant surgery and wedding on her death bed. And then the brutal reveal that all of it was a plot with the huge fight at the Forrester mansion as a climax. And Taylor left by Ridge crying at his feet like a dog. The usual on Bold.

But even if she is really dying and getting a heart transplant - it's just a plot device to make Ridge have no other option than to desert Brooke and pick Taylor. The other storyline would have been Brooke f-cking someone and making a mistake, but Bradley has turned Brooke into a Saint that sells thongs these days.

As soon as Taylor is not at death's door, everything will be forgotten and Ridge will reunite with Brooke. It's done before. I see this evolve in the next year.  Bradley is repeating his 2005 breaking up of Bridge for Tridge with the heart-failure stuff.

Le Sigh.

We’ve already been down this road before with Felicia, Katie, and Eric and someone else I’m forgetting too.

We also are forgetting that this is Thudley’s B&B so there is a possibility that Taylor is lying a la Stephanie, Sally etc. Or Taylor learning she is actually improving but lies to make it sound she’s getting worse.

Ya I can see them killing off Luna to give Taylor a heart a la Storm.

Will Thudley ever think of something original for once?

-- When Tom Arnold is your guest star on a Friday, your entire show is in trouble.

-- Brooke said Hope has "a little crush" on Finn?   LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

-- Dropping Taylor's "heart failure" at the end of the show is such bad writing. But expected.

-- LMAOOOOOOOOOOO at Bill telling Katie and Will in the "coming up" clips that they have to be a family. This is the same guy who preached about an entirely different family just last week.

Le sigh.

Yeah it has gone back to being a chore after all those good weeks.

That said...RB felt like Taylor for the first time to me when she was talking to Brooke and put her hands together in therapist mode. It was a little thing. And the head tilt. But...baby steps.

Awwww Katie apologized to Poppy. But I doubt that rivalry is over.

I am tired of Hope being one way to Brooke badmouthing Steffy, but can't say it to her face. And now her department is in jeopardy. Perhaps she should focus.

Well the content/vibe of the Brooke + Taylee scenes was a pleasant surprise.

Taylor was supposed to be this world-renowned psychiatrist - but the writers eventually betrayed the character + HT by dumbing down the dialogue and stories.

Maybe it's RB's delivery but she actually sounded like the expert doctor she's supposed to be.

So Finn gets scenes with RJ and Deuce in the same week? Weird.

    • Good Morning, this is still funny to me but I totally enjoyed what makes up "DemetriKane" so unnecessary, who cares?!!! Glad you like the Emma Peel derivative story.
    • Christian Streaty penned today's Day's script. https://www.linkedin.com/in/christian-streaty/
    • Yes, they did.  I still have them.  I think there were three.  AMC and GH as well.
    • Ah okay, thats what I thought. I was hoping I missed the announcement somewhere. Thanks for the clarification.
    • A new day in Salem… and a new day for Days.  I like the way everybody found out and absorbed the news about John’s death, and how they all eventually found their way to Marlena’s to offer their condolences. I’m not particularly sure why they waited until the next day to tell everybody but I don’t really mind it.  We finally got Roman’s perspective! His scenes with Kayla were one of the best parts of today. I’m glad that Roman is thankful for everything that John did for his kids. I agree with posters who said that he should’ve had a scene like this with John, but I’m happy we got this at least.  Julie was used very well today too. She’s definitely the best person for Marlena to have scenes with at the moment. Hopefully, Julie continues to be there for her. And yes, I totally agree with Marlena and Belle sending EJ away when he came to the apartment. I’m curious to see what’s going to happen to his and Belle’s relationship in the aftermath of all this. And, while I enjoyed most of Brady and Kristen’s scenes, I still think the ship has sailed for them. Hopefully, the aftermath of John’s death causes Brady to finally end this thing with her once and for all.  And, I see a lot of people were wearing some kind of shade of purple today.

    • Wow, I love that current and former actors are participating in this. I barely recognize Staci Greason! She looks fine, just very different. But I will be happy to hear anecdotes from her. I shipped RoJohn and Isabella hard back in the day, and I sobbed buckets in my dorm room at college when Izzy B passed. Honestly, I'm interested in everyone's stories. Drake seemed like he was well loved among the cast.
    • When she first appeared, I was sure she was setting Tyrell up for a prank. She was too much of a manic pixie dream girl- I wasn't surprised Tyrell also became suspicious. Now I'm not so sure. If Jessica genuinely likes Tyrell, it seems like a missed opportunity to not have started her out as a bully, then we see her gradually catch feelings for Tyrell.  The McBrides are definitely the "C" family of BTG. They always get last priority. There have been a few times where the Doug/Vanessa/Joey characters reference off screen conversations which seem too important to not show us. Like when Doug thanked Joey for giving him extra time to pay off the loan. When did that happen? Or when we abruptly moved from Vanessa/Joey at Uptown to Vanessa/Doug in the hotel room. The McBrides don't even have their own set - even though Vanessa is a realtor. It's a shame because I am a fan of the characters and actors.

I am also adjusting to KR as Ted but I feel that AM and MJ had way more chemistry as father and daughter than AM and KR. We saw Eva dream of having a real relationship with MJ's version of Ted for months so it's a bit of a bummer not to have that payoff with the original actor except for those scenes in MJ's last episode.  Something I noticed about Eva today is how she takes genuine delight in being a schemer. As badly as she wants to be a Richardson, she still has so much of her mom in her. It was jarring seeing her earnestly promise to steer clear of Leslie in her scene with Ted, then immediately switch attitudes when her mom showed up.  I'm very surprised with how quickly the accident story has been moving along. I was sure that it would be months if not years before people figured out it was Leslie on the motorcycle, not to mention responsible for the potassium overdose. I'm looking forward to seeing how MVJ and Guza avoid writing Leslie into a corner.  Finally, I have been loving the Articulettes story. Bonita Brisker was just the right amount of OTT - remember Sharon is supposed to be even more angry than Tracy is. If Sharon didn't come in swinging, people would say she fell flat. The way Sharon and Tracy describe the breakup is so Supremes-meet-Original Recipe Destiny's Child. I get the sense that MVJ is re-writing the Return to Love Tour as a roman a clef, and I love it. I'm looking forward to finding out what the secret they share is. If Dante Green is as shady as Berry Gordy was, it's something dark. If/when they go through with the reunion, I expect Dante to show up and claim to own the Articulettes trademark in a Lou Pearlman-esque twist.
