Because EOB got a bad Theresa wig and lousy story does not mean she was set up to fail. With that argument, we're looking at about 75% of the cast.

The fact is, O'Brien NEVER worked as Theresa. She never resembled the character we knew, not in looks or attitude or emotion or anything else. Not for one minute did I ever feel I was watching Theresa. It never worked.

Is that EOB's fault? Uh....yeah. She's a good actress in the right role. In the role of Theresa, she was bad. When an actor is miscast, production gets blame, but so should the actor.

My hunch is that this a fake out, and Gabi is not going to believe Connie on Monday.

I actually wouldn’t mind that. I’d much rather Gabi either figure it out on her own, or learn of it some other way.

But what could she have done though? Theresa was basically forced on her by dumb producers and toxic writers.

I’m not disagreeing with you, I’m just curious.

I think it’s because of the way her characters were treated, especially Gwen. What Leo did to her and how dumb she was written (after years of being one of the smartest characters on the show) was just cruel and disgusting, for literally no reason. It’s like it was written especially to make Gwen look as bad as possible. And the fact that it was probably written that way just because somebody (I won’t say who lol) got some kind of sick pleasure out of it makes it even worse.

That totally stacked the deck against Theresa, who probably had no chance of any kind of redemption or ongoing storylines because she was paired with RSW’s Alex.

Exactly.

I wouldn’t blame her if she was furious about all of this.

Gwen killed Laura. Who cares how she was treated.

Well, she did kinda pay for that 😂

That storyline was just a combination of all the soap tropes that I hate more than anything; cruelty/humiliation, awful characters getting rewarded for their awful behavior and propaganda

Hmmm... I see your point and I think you can put some blame on EOB for Gwen because that was the role she was hired to play.   I don't really think she had much choice in playing Theresa.   I suppose she could have left or said no, but even if we know she was miscast, the show was telling her otherwise.

Just a mess all around.  I think Emily has the least blame for it though.

I don't remember her paying.

Yes, hate all that, too.

Her best friend, the one person she always thought would stand by her no matter what, betrayed her in the worst way possible and then tossed her away like trash.

She paid 😂😂😂

The Leo/Dmitri/Gwen stuff was revolting.  As is Leo crying about losing his friendship with Gwen.  Maybe if he treated her like someone he cared about or even a human being I would have some sympathy.  He deserves Dmitri dumping him and Gwen hating him.

There should be more scenes of Leo calling her and Gwen hanging up on him.

Oh, Karma, delivered by Leo. Of course, you're right. It was a very high price that she paid.

I mean, if you have to use Leo I'd rather it be in a way where he suffers.

I don't care about Emily being gone from the show it was long overdue because she got majority of airtime and storylines under Ron as headwriter and Airtime and storylines given to her could have been used for other characters on the show

She got to leave town rich and happy. Gwen has never paid for any of her horrible actions and lives she ruined. I hope we never ever see that character again now that Ron is gone.

So anyways, Connie is talking to cardboard cut out? Julie Dove seems like a lovely person but this character I just cannot understand.
