I don't know how much of it's true or not regarding Morgan but someone on Twitter I believe said last month that the one reason why FV doesn't resurrect Morgan is cause his death is meant to be a permanent consequences for Sonny/Carly and the ultimate dangerous lifestyle they lead and chose. Morgan continued death is the consequences of that choice they repeatedly made. Maybe someone in the know can confirm or deny this

Best opening for me growing up. Especially Lucy's eyebrow raise. The strings during the Puerto Rico part. And oh yes, Mac's turtleneck. My history with JY goes back to his WEREWOLF series as a kid and even now he could still get it.

Considering how laughable that seems in relation to his repeatedly casting the same two men over and over again in new roles, I doubt it. Seems more likely to me that he doesn’t want to deal with Bryan Craig again, or the complaints if they replace him and Craig bitches online about it, plus MO’s complaints.

8-2

Like I just said on the Y&R thread, what was it with last week and soaps having cliffhangers on Thursdays? lol.

I thought Kristina's fall was well done. Definitely well-acted (shout out to Ms. Lopez as Blaze...she has definitely grown acting-wise). I did not like how Gio reacted, but this episode went a long way to explaining his actions so also well done. He just seem so out of his depth. Thank God for Joss taking charge. But hey, it gave a nice little Gio/Trina scene so I didn't hate it.

And thank you for @AbcNbc247 for the heads-up on Trina/Ava. Outside of the obvious drama going on, TA was looking DEAD DROP GORGEOUS and her presence during the fall was on point as she locked eyes with Ava/the window. But again, I don't like that they are doing such a job on the Trina/Ava friendship...but as of now, that friendship is becoming Ava's only saving grace.

Meanwhile...I saw the comments about Ava making the crime scene even more complicated by moving stuff. And I wanted to pick on it, too. However, that was Wagger's stuff that Kristina fell over, and it was already established that Ava did not want anyone to know she was sleeping with Wagger so I guess I could understand why she would complicate the crime scene by getting rid of the only thing that would have set her free.

Side-note...Wagger was WOOF in that towel..and NO beat-up makeup. hehe. And Chase looked nice in that suit. And it looks like someone found the right dress pants for him, too.

I love it when NLG plays Mama Bear. She is absolute ferocious. And I live for it. Especially after those scenes with TJ which I found surprisingly dull though I like the actor.

I also live for any moment where Scotty can stick it to Sonny. Kin Shriner plays their history oh so well. If we make it to the custody case, that is going to be delicious.

So my Beast Mr. Brennan is right back where he started as the head of the WSB. How long before Carly realizes she's out because of him?

Yep. Pretty much.

Nina has a history of being extremely insecure and needy and she's always acting like she desperately wants people to like her and be friends with her. That's just how her character has always been. Also, she has been perfectly fine without Sonny for the entire time that she's been on this show, so I don't get this idea that she and Sonny are somehow this great love story and they need to get back together because somehow Nina makes Sonny "a better man" or whatever crap people like to spew out.

I just don't like Nina and Sonny because they are an awful couple and they never should have happened to begin with and even though I could care less for Nina these days, I think she deserves a whole lot better than him. But I don't know if there is a man alive that even exists that can handle a person like Nina, with maybe the exception of Valentin. And we all know how their relationship turned out in the end.

I wasn't disagreeing about Nina not needing Sonny. I agree that she does not & since she finally figured that out, she knows it now, too. I believe for a time she mistakenly was still tied to the idea of them as a couple, or being in love with being in love, if you will.

My crack about relevancy was just a nod to her ... oh, non-conformity is the only word I can think of. I mean, yes, she is a fashion plate, so she cares to some degree what people think but she's also quite irreverent & even nerdy. I think Nina could snort when she laughs & not think anything of it. Maybe I'm just rambling.

I'm a total sucker for 2 baby things - socks & hats. When TJ finally let himself break down over those very ferociously striped baby socks I was quite choked up. I was glad Curtis said the line about people grieving differently. I really do not want to go through TJ turning his anger on Molly right about now!

Her reading of the baby autopsy to Ava just about killed me.

I remain so pleased that Sonny saved himself yesterday, what an unexpected growth in self-awareness, which apparently was provoked by Molly doing such a good job of telling him off. I had to chuckle, though, that he wouldn't tell Kevin about Hallucinating Morgan! Of course he would be one who would withhold from his therapist.

I feel quite bittersweet at this ending of Patrick's time. And, quite leery of the new team. But, with that said, I am so pleased that we got the wedding over with, Gregory died, Finn burned & crashed, Pikeman got spiked & Tolly Baby Girl, for the good or not, is well dead & at some point soon will be buried. Now, whatever they want to do with these people in this town, they can set about doing it.

So they fired the previous HW team only to bring back one of them to still co-HW. How does that make a lick of sense? Did he suddenly get better ideas than the ones that got him canned?

PM set so much good stuff in motion to the point that honestly GH became my favorite soap of the now three I’m watching since I came back to GH, but man it’s been obvious something has changed drastically and not for the better.

Also tbh if MB has made his whole life and mental health well being, playing Sonny then that’s on him. The show catering to him and Burton throughout the years has been so stupid and why the show suffered so much.

You guys seem to really love Brenda but I have no clue why you think Sonny the unrepentant mob boss deserves a happy ending with a nice character.

Tbf I have zero 90’s relationship with Sonny and Brenda and only have seen them from Brenda’s return during the awful Balkin story, but there was definitely chemistry but that doesn’t erase 20 years that I’ve watched(well ignore the ones I skipped) of Sonny being a mobster and having several people killed. Sonny is no hero and should be shot and killed alone as his ultimate ending.

    • I love this more than any theory I've seen yet
    • I wonder what Dana and Hayley's first scene will be like. Dana has fear/contempt for Bill, but I can imagine Hayley being curious to meet her.
    • Daphne was just FANTASTIC today. I know people wanted histronics and it may still come but she was pitch perfect today. As much as I like Maurice she's gonna need someone just as strong now and it's just not him
    • Today's episode was one of my favorites so far! TT's Anita standing up to Dana was perfect. I was surprised with how restrained Dani was, in some scenes, I forgot she was there. The ending "Amazing Grace" montage was brilliant. I like how Vernon's reason complements Anita's emotion. DD was terrific portraying her mixed sense of betrayal and humiliation. I liked her comment about how she condescended to Dani after her breakup with Bill, unaware that she was also married to a cheater. I am going to miss MJ as Ted and I don't agree with the criticisms of his acting. His conduct on social media is a different story. I agree that BC's Martin has come into his own. He and MM have also discovered some chemistry which allows them portray a believable couple. Eva is the most empathetic character for me. Seeing get locked out of the apartment was heartbreaking. I also liked that the writing for Kat has been much more nuanced than one might have expected just weeks ago. I liked the expression on Kat's face at the end when she was embracing Nicole. Kat has probably never seen her calm, poised mother so upset. CM's face portrayed a sense of discomfort now that the carer/child roles have been somewhat reversed. I believe now more than ever that Kat is Ted and Dana's child. Eva is Ted and Nicole's child. Dana switched them as insurance - if Bill came after her to take or harm Eva, Dana would reveal that Eva was actually a Dupree, giving her some protection. She would also be secure in the fact that her birth daughter Kat was ensconced in the privilege and security of the Dupree family. The way Dana raised Eva - "weaponizing" her instead of nurturing her as a loving mother - also aligns with this theory.
    • @Paul Raven - thanks for reviewing the content for accuracy.  You know, the nice thing about AI is that you can teach it things, so I am having it review the classic AMC Tumblr to increase its accuracy.
    • If you begin where they suggested (#6077), it's VERY easy to follow because it's right at the beginning of a new storyline.   Another story is winding down, but it's fairly easy to catch on. The central characters in both stories (the one that's ending & the one that's beginning) are members of the Madison family.  The Madisons have recently moved from Hollywood to Monticello.  The father (Owen Madison) is an ex-movie producer.  The mother (Nola Patterson Madison) is a washed-up, alcoholic actress who can no longer get a part in a film.  Owen has a daughter named Paige Madison, and Nola has a son named Brian Madison.  The Madison family left Hollywood primarily because the daughter (Paige) had gotten involved with a group of "renegade" young political activists who stole some guns to furnish to South American revolutionaries.  Paige Madison is being targeted for assassination by various members of the group (known as "the Tobias gang").  As a result, Paige has a full-time body guard, a former Monticello policeman who resigned from the police force because he accidentally shot & killed a 14-year-old boy who was armed with a cap pistol.  As the new plot (a movie called "Mansion of the Damned") takes shape,  the existing plot about Paige, the assassins, and the bodyguard comes to a conclusion.  The other characters on the show are all playing supporting roles to these storylines, and it'll be easy to figure out who they are and how they come into play.
    • Anita said to Leslie what I was always going to wonder. Where can a woman like her go from here? Given the circumstances and all.
    • I think she's her daughter but even if she's not, I can see Nicole forgiving her. The Duprees were kinda painting Eva out to be a victim of her deranged mother today with the way Anita was laying it on think on how horrible a mother she was. Even Nicole used language such as Eva being weaponized against them. She's a psychiatrist and can see that this is a clear case of emotional trauma and manipulation. Nicole is in her feelings right now as she should be but I think she will realize that Eva isnt the villian here and is a victim of sorts on her own
