Yes, Lunacy is cheesy, but it's also very classic Bell Sr. - every 2 years on Y&R - especially 1990s, he'd turn a seemingly *nice* girl psychotic.

Steffy outlined almost every relationship to Luna, but I was kinda hoping to hear:

'Luna, you're my husband's first cousin through his adopted mother's sister, who has been living with Bill Spencer, the father of my first husband and grandfather of my first-born child - and the man I saw you kissing!'

I've decided to just call Luna's split personality...Tuna. Well, one thing I can say for Tuna, she's more interesting than sweet as pie, perfect, beautiful, would never do anything bad Luna. I wonder what the end game to this cheesefest is as of now (before BB changes his mind to something else). I mean, if Tuna did murder two people, there's no way the cops are going to let her walk around town...split personality or not!

In a way, it's kind of sad that we FINALLY get some sort of diversity on this show, and it turns into this. I am kind of excited sanctimonious Steffy will be stuck in a cage for a good bit. But, if Luna/Tuna goes, who are RJ and Will going to fight over? And, we ALL know that's coming!

I wonder if we'll also be told that Tuna was the one that actually slept with Zende, and she planned it. I mean...they did destroy Zende with that storyline though. I'm not sure if even this would fix that.  I thought RJ versus Zende had some potential, and they just went and shot themselves in the foot before that even got started.

@1974mdp A few weeks ago, I called the Lunacy excuse for Zende, which is actually a good thing. Clearly, we'll hear how the alter intentionally took Poppy's mints and she likely drugged Zende, the same way she just drugged Steffy.

With Bill mentioning how Luna should speak to a professional at the same time Taylor announces she's reopening her practice ... but it'll be quite the family conspiracy if Luna actually did kill Tom + Hollis. I expect a twist to get Luna off the hook and keep her on the show. While Luna isn't perfect, it's been over a decade since B&B has had characters in their 20s that mattered.

Wow. It took Steffy until Wednesday to confront Hope. I didn't know whether it shows how invested I've gotten in the show again, or if it's Lloyd Gold writing. LOL.

That said I liked that Finn told Steffy. And yeah, Steffy was right. But I didn't like how she was going off on him. Yeah, Finn can be surprisingly naive about people, but that's part of the reason you love him, Steffy. She was low blowing him a little too much for me. I do hope that if Hope is going to be catty about Steffywhen she is not in the room, she will be giving it to Steffy, too. After all, the real reason Hope is into Finn is that she feels he can do better than Steffy. Just own it, Hope. Earn the slap you have coming.

I can't believe that the Luna thread vanished after Monday. So far. So is Luna cray cray?

I mentally roll my eyes every time I see NuTaylor. But lord, if those writers aren't trying. I just think KA's reintro as NuTaylor was better.

Okay, I'm caught up.  @Maxim like you I have new life for RB's Taylor, she did well in her scenes with KKL.  Someone said Rebecca is at her best when she is bitchy, maybe that is her strong suit.  Hopefully chemistry will fall into place with the other actors.

As for Luna, this some crazy sh!t.

I'm happy that you're happy! I was looking forward to seeing your reaction after I  told you about how much I loved her. Yes, not the Taylor I imagined, but I'll take her. I even showed a clip to my husband and he told me - I prefer this new Taylor, the last one was too funny for my taste. (I DO NOT agree with him

"The role of Bridget Forrester will now be played by Rebecca Budig."

That's what we should have heard.

Please refresh my memory y'all... last time we saw Krista Allen's Taylor, she and Brooke were basically cool with one another, right?

They were not - after months and months of a storyline about being best friends, girl-power and saying f-ck you to nasty men, they had 3 episodes where they fought and screamed at each-other, mostly Brooke... for Emmy reels and that's it.

So what isn’t making sense is where Sheila fits into the Steffy, Luna etc. thing.  Because it always goes back to Sheila and or missing toes, so, how does Brad Bell get there?  She’s the one who does the rescue or Luna is Mary or something?  PS - actress who plays Luna - majorly flat back/no butt.  Wardrobe, watch the pants, looks like she got mashed back there.

    • The bit with the scarf reminds me of the fabled stuffed animal scene with Rick and Phillip. (That wasn't debunked, was it?)
    • Ohh, interesting. I instantly gravitated towards her in that episode. Of course I'm already hooked and want to know why she was trying to poison that older lady, but then how did the older lady know to switch the mugs so Susan drank her own poison...  but I have too many timelines I'm watching right now haha.  Oh, Bolger is definitely hot. I didn't realize he was on GL haha. I knew him from OLTL and other primetime stuff.
    • This is a effin shame. Eff Trump and eff the bastards that enable him.
    • I 100% agree but I think this is due to how the show is structured. It's a one family show which means there are no people in her age range that could be used as friends or contemporaries of her. The show definitely needs a second main family. I am glad someone finally said this. Especially now that the cast is gelling in their roles, he stands out like a sore thumb. No energy, no chemistry with anybody. He is just there.  I thought that was odd as well! The previous scene would've worked better as a tag for the credits.
    • That's the one and only Carrie Nye (Mrs. Dick Cavett) as Susan Piper, a deadly realtor. I don't want to spoil a lot if you ever want to see those episodes. She returns as another character in 2003. I think Grant has aged well and he always did a good job at being ripped without going too far, but he was never entirely my cup of tea either. I did think John Bolger was hot.
    • Totally agree. KKL looks great! It makes the Widge groveling so bizarre. Brooke needs to leave FC and with $B's/Liam's funding launch a rival fashion house with Hope, Rick, Katie and a secret designer. The best scenario is that Rick has been absent because he's been with very much alive C2, who is revealed on the runway as the secret designer. It'll never happen because B&B is comfortable just focusing on FC and the Forresters Marones v. Logans. But it'd been so much more interesting if the Spencers/Logans united.

    • Haha that scarf thing did go on a bit too long, very odd. And what a young Rick!  I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I just never got the physical appeal of Grant Aleksander, but he's definitely a great actor. Who is the older lady around the 8:30 mark, and also ends the episode, alone and in pain? She seems like a really interesting character. I love the smoky voice and sultry, snaky vibe she seems to have.
    • I can't remember exactly but I think she lives in or is part of the cottage story with Carrie. Carrie poisons her in this episode.  I forgot Teresa was on the show. (I see that AI is insisting she wasn't - well they're wrong) Poor Maeve. I can how even she had her limits.
    • It pisses me off that the other Duprees are making this incident all about them as well. They are playing a family of victims, acting as if Ted cheated on all of them. They should be supportive, but not like this. I have a family that makes anything that happens to me personally all about them, and seeing the same thing on TV is rage-inducing.
