Paula cwikly was the reason Abe and Lexie had Theo so I expect we will see his character return and for the people who want Ciara and Ben again knowing Paula cwikly writing for Days I would expect only Ciara would be brought back they could easily have them divorce off screen

One thing about Paula cwikly writing was she used character's history

On the other hand... when someone like GH Liz is single, viewers demand that she gets a love interest.

The truth is that some people stay single out of choice and I would like to see that on a soap. I am bored with couples acting like lovesick teens and I believe that some of the most interesting soap stories were not love stories.

This is such great news. One thing I enjoyed about the scab writers is that the show no longer felt like a comedy. If the new writers can return that feeling to the show, it’s a win for me.

I would not wish RC on Y&R but I am morbidly curious to see what he could do considering how boring Griffith is.

Stuff Paula cwikly did during her first tenure at Days

Bo and Hope stuff with Larry

Abe and Lexie love triangle with Brandon

Sami and Brandon stuff

Shawn and Belle as teenagers

Brady and Chloe and Phillip love triangle as teenagers

Kate and Roman stuff

Nicole and Victor stuff

Family moments between different characters

Parties at the Dimera mansion

Lexie's pregnancy stuff with Theo which led to more drama between Abe and Brandon at the time

All the speculation about RonC joining other soaps makes me wonder if he'd really take a job where he would not be the headwriter?  After being at the helm on three soaps, I question if he would want to take a step backward career-wise.

He'd turn Kevin gay and make him gossip queen of Genoa City local newspaper.

Kevin would flirt with every man in Genoa City.

Kevin would be paired with Fen played by Zach Tinker.

Kevin would yell and scream at how horrible Gloria was as a mother.

Kevin would invite his bestie Jackie Cox to brunch.

When Days joined Peacock they cited needing programming that could drive year round subscriptions. They would find success with short limited series and people would cancel after it was over. Days gives them what they were looking for and the first quarter after they added Days showed a big jump in subscribers.

Nobody is going to come right out and say a soap is the reason for their success, but the signs are all there. It's probably the cheapest show they have other than reality tv and it drives subscriptions. There is a reason we're also getting The Gates. I strongly believe the soaps overall a lot more successful on streaming than we realize, for the exact same reason: year round subscriptions.

Every streaming network was wasting hundreds of millions of dollars on these prestige shows which didn't give them the returns they wanted. Those days are largely over post-strike. Max is even getting back into the network swing of things with a 16 episode medical drama, which will be released weekly and will have a normal budget.
