I agree that the inspiration to utilize two characters with similar names is clever, but I thought Xander's mother's name was something like Angelique, which was also similar to Angelica.  So, I'm confused that she is being referenced as Fiona.

But, I adore the soapiness of her flying to Salem, wedding-ready in a cocktail dress, with no visible luggage.

I had predicted that John would find her in Greece, and bring her back, or she would have some relation to Konstantin, but neither seems to be true.

I'm glad that Theresa was exposed today. Too bad Andrew didn't take the initiative to have her turned in to the proper authorities; I honestly don't know what he was thinking when he demanded that she turn herself in. We all know that woman doesn't have a single hint of decency in her bones and she is nothing more than a greedy, opportunistic coward. I won't be surprised if Xander gets her to confess the rest of her crimes later on. I hope at some point we get to see Brady and Tate react to Theresa's scheme being exposed because otherwise I'm going to feel cheated.

Theoretically, Alex would have received the same amount of inheritance as Xander since Maggie said she split among relatives equally and she made it seem like it was quite a bit of money, so I would assume that Alex just wouldn't receive any more inheritance now and that would cover previous debts.  Especially since Xander didn't use his initial "share".

Absolutely ridiculous that there was no follow up with anybody from yesterday. I still stand by what I said; that they should have broken up yesterday’s episode into two or even three episodes.

Nothing really interested me today. NuGabi and Stefan were good, and they seemed to have nice chemistry. I also liked the Stephanie/Kayla scene but it is kinda sad to see Stephanie so dumbed down. I was really hoping that Stephanie and Jada would be able to see through Bobby’s crap.

I think it is time Everett/Bobby character is killed off because In my opinion the character has overstayed his welcome nothing against Blake Berris but they wasted his time by writing his character in a relationship with Stephanie and they just don't work then we have had months of other characters talking about this pairing and why should Rafe and Jada characters be wasted on his character when they constantly are reminding viewers about him and Stephanie relationship even with this two personalities stuff

Adriana, once again - you posts are without proper punctuation marks, after you were politely asked if you could start using them. This is borderline "block of text" level which is unacceptable. Scriptio continua - writing without punctuation has long been considered to be spam and nonsense in certain online communities.

Next we'll start writing gibberish and act like everyone is understanding us.

If that was mentioned on the show I must of missed it.  I thought Maggie gave some of it to Justin's children and perhaps Ciara/Shawn as well.  I can't remember if Bo had a "trust" like Phillip but it would be weird if Maggie didn't give any to Victor's other grandchildren.

Still, it sounds like there is money to spare and I don't actually think Alex will have to pay anything back he just won't have any money going forward.

This is what it's like to try to read your posts! I don't know why we even try.

Now, everyone else, I am caught up again on DAYS! Well, I've seen up to & including yesterday.

I really like Fiona. Am I crazy?

I was so incredibly happy to finally have this reveal.

I was disappointed that Alex didn't have more ... something. Also, even though it was predictable, I'm pissed that he did not say he was sorry. He's treated Justin so badly! And, I think about all the money he's spent. At a minimum he was angry at & shouted at Theresa. Loved also Andrew getting onto his sister. I'm glad he's here. Paul, too. But why are they?

Another predictable thing. Leo took the cake, or one of them.

Everyone should be amazed, horrified,  up in arms but this is Salem after all & everyone is pretty calm.

It is a shame that there was no follow-up to the wedding.

Today's episode was eh.

It was nice to finally see Kristen actually being CEO at the Dimera office and not just being told what happened off screen at Dimera.

The best part of the show was Brandon Barash shirtless and seeing his hot hairy chest/big boobies/pecs.

We are steamrolling through a lot of stories, but the revelation of Ava and Stefan having drunken sex seems both unnecessary and yet inevitable.  Unnecessary because I think it will only be a temporary stumbling block in Gabi and Stefan's relationship.  And, inevitable, that it will be used to humiliate Ava, despite the fact that she did nothing wrong.

I am a Jada-fan.  I wish she was given more to do and more people to interact with, for example, a single scene, or even a mention, of her ex-lover Eric would be nice.

It is also ironic that Li is much more interesting as a ghost than he was when he was alive.

The Dimera siblings have played so many cruel tricks on each other that when Stefan and Kristen discussed his framing her for child abuse, I'd completely forgotten that gross storyline where they put pretend bruises on little Rachel.  That was a tacky tale that was best left in the past.

    • Thank you for the constructive suggestion.
    • But how is it "apparent" that she signed a new 3-year contract? Your wording had a voice of authority -- as if you knew it was true. A better way to post about it? Say you read online that she signed a new contract, but have no idea if that's true.
    • This interview actually reminds me a bit of Kim Zimmer’s press during the infamous clone storyline on Guiding Light, or Deidre Hall during the possession story on Days. All three were seasoned daytime veterans who made it clear they valued airtime for their characters, not just being part of a romantic pairing. It seems that idea was part of the pitch behind these bigger-than-life plots. They all took big swings in their performances. When I read Kim Zimmer’s memoir, I thought she captured it best — she wanted to be respected for being willing to take those risks. To paraphrase her, she knew it was ridiculous for Reva to think she was pregnant after menopause, but she still threw herself into those scenes and made them real. That’s what really struck me about Victoria Wyndham’s interview too. She responded like a real person. It felt like she was telling Michael Logan that she knew Justine — and a geriatric pregnancy with twins — was totally preposterous, but that she still deserved credit for trying to keep the show alive and entertain the audience. And honestly, I think that's more than fair. Logan is looking for a reductive answer for who is to blame.  And, she's telling him to accept that they were all well-meaning.  Which is not a defense of bad storytelling.  But, I understand that she's frustrated because she interpreted Logan's critique as a lack of commitment, and she wants him to know that she was committed! (maybe not for the best, but committed).
    • Fine, you only had to say so. It's not a problem to me NOT to post this. I have no idea what this means.
    • Oh, really? I think we're really getting close.  What does "apparently" mean to you? To me, it means that this is something I think has happened but not something I absolutely positively know to have happened. When I use a word like "apparently" as I have here, I am doing so by intent. Can you think of a better way to communicate that?
    • Wow...I was not expecting a montage.   I know SilkPress did not!!! Poor Eva.  Lol. Funnily enough I missed that.
    • For the record, VW thought having the twins at their ages was absurd & who wanted that story, was some group of fans, who wanted her & Carl to have a chance at having children together. Not any fans that I knew of, but supposedly they existed.
    • Brandon Tartikoff saved NBC primetime. Brandon Stoddard got ABC Tuesday to rebound and put an end to the Aaron Spelling hit factory.
    • Awwwww Brad. I know I shouldn't, but I feel bad for him

And yeah, agreed that Dante having animosity towards Gio is very forced and contrived. And it also has me concerned that it means the reveal won't be happening anytime soon.
    • God, I love that woman. Another amazing interview!!
