Today's episode not good way too much focus on Alex and Theresa Characters and they got married and the cliffhanger was Sarah and Xander at the altar then Xander mom arrived 

Before I talk about today, I just gotta say how much I love Colton Little’s smile 😍😍😊😊😊😊

As for today, welcome back Sonny, Paul and Andrew! We’ve missed you all a real lot 😊😊😊😊😊

All three of them had great scenes today with their families. And they all seemed to fit back on to the canvas so effortlessly. Seriously, like a glove. Even Andrew, and he hasn’t even had that many scenes with Theresa, Roman, Stephanie, etc. Days really should do whatever they have to do to keep at least Andrew on full time. 

And as always, Leo was unnecessary. Half of the families couldn’t make the wedding but of course Leo had to be there. And had to have a scene with Sonny 🤮🤮🤮 Thankfully, it was brief.

Dude seriously is the appendix of Days lol 

The actual ceremonies felt a little rushed, but I didn’t think they were terrible. I especially liked Maggie’s speech at the beginning of Xander and Sarah’s. And now that Alex and Theresa are married, there’s such an opportunity for the effects of this reveal to play out for such a long time and for so many characters. And Days would be pretty stupid if they didn’t run with it. Let this be the catalyst for something huge and amazing. 

The cliffhanger was expected but I thought it was good. It has me really looking forward to next week.

Nobody cares about Rafe that much. 

I preferred Sarah's dress to Theresa's, even if the halter-neck felt a bit dated.  Theresa's bows on her shoulders were wild, and the headpiece made no sense with the gown.  But, I guess in a universe where your gown magically appears the day of the wedding, you don't get much choice.

Also, why would Theresa choose to get ready at Sarah's cramped apartment rather than her huge mansion?  And how did Andrew know to find her there?  Finally, Xander is giving Jack his half of the newspaper?  He's not going to sell it?  He's just giving it away, when he has no job, a little baby, and tiny apartment?

Any hoo...  I love a surprise wedding guest who shows up in a fringed dress, so soapy!

I actually liked both Theresa and Sarah's dresses.  

Maggie was the MVP dresser today.  Her dress look great on her. 

I generally don't get the choices Days makes with wedding guests.  You would think Marlena, Kayla, Steve, Kate, John, Chad, etc would get the invite, but I guess Stephanie needed to be there instead?  Lol.

I laughed at the discussion about the RSVP's, because she only sent the invitations last week.  Most guests probably didn't even have a chance to reply yet.  Meanwhile, the out-of-town guests arrived in their formal wear, while Marlena and Kayla were just too busy to make it over to the square.

I know Roman is Theresa's Uncle, but has he ever actually spoken to Theresa? Tate called Roman his grandfather a few months ago, so clearly no one has any idea about how people are related in Salem.

*I love Paul, so any CS appearance is a good appearance.

I actually would have Theresa and Kristen killed off permanently because they are pretty much both played out and they're basically both irredeemable psychos. I am also well aware that Theresa is a legacy character but she is so extremely despised and hated by so many fans across the board that it's not just worth it to keep her on the canvas long term and if I were the head-writer, I would cut my losses and just have her killed off permanently.

I would then replace her with both Andrew and a resurrected Paige because I always felt like killing off Paige was a colossal mistake and she still had some potential left. Plus it pretty much limited a lot of story potential with Eve, especially now that she's practically in her 60's, (I think she probably is; I don't know, my math skills are awful; lol).

Even if Paige doesn't ultimately get back together with J.J., she could be potentially paired up with other male characters her age and she would also be a great asset at the hospital since I recall that she was studying to be a med student. Also with Kristen dead, Rachel can go live with Brady permanently and maybe she might still have a chance to grow up to be a somewhat decent human being. 

They really do need to end Shelle if they come back. Too much has happened, water under the bridge for them to realistically ever work again. Plus Shelle hasn't worked since JC/KS were in the roles. OG Shelle is my jam but lighting didn't strike twice or three times with the pairing & once JC left that should have been the end of them. MM has never had any romantic or sexual chemistry with either Shawn. The only man to me she has chemistry with is JKJ Phil they were hot & that's where they should have left the character at. Her version of Belle works best with a flawed messy grey character like JKJ Phil 

They can't continue to try and sell Shelle as true love or soulmates when Belle constantly cheats on him & wants what she can't have. She looks like a flighty fickle slut. Shawn looks like a weak emseculate cock head for constantly putting up with it and forgiving her.

Days needs to decide once and for all what they want MM Belle to be either a disloyal sanctimonious self righteous half assed martyring can't keep it in her pants hoe or a messy bitch with the morals of an ally cat but passed off as some noble righteous good girl🙄

I don't know if this is unpopular here but they really need to recast Shawn. Outside of family scenes, Claire I don't think he works as Shawn & I haven't seen him have chemistry with anyone yet. I just don't believe he ever has captured the essence of Shawn Douglas Brady.

I really enjoyed Friday's show with Sonny, Paul and Andrew back.
