I loved Carly finally letting loose on Jagger lol, that’s my girl and Sonny, Diane, Joss and Gio watching in joy til she got those cuffs put on was hilarious. Curious how the hell she gets out of this

Again I enjoy Ava and Jagger together, her giggling at herself for shacking up with an FBI agent and always keeping things entertaining was funny, MW is a treasure.

Those Danny and Jason scenes were great. Danny’s actor has shown real improvement and potential the more he’s onscreen.

I’m team Molly and TJ when it comes to Kristina and I’m glad they’re about to put paperwork on her. I agree with @carolineg on KV as well she has really elevated Molly into adulthood.

I’m glad they’re still playing Willow and Drew being ready to smash each other. Michael is such a doofus and I hate their son’s name btw I wish they’d change it.

I could’ve done without Sasha and Violet and lol at Brennan disappearing without a trace.

This has been a solid week IMO

-- The Perez Hilton "interview" was a complete mess from a writing standpoint. Since Blaze and Kristina are clearly in a relationship, any decent interviewer -- even a hack -- would discuss the pregnancy.

Hilton cannot act and the dialogue he was given was awful.

KV was very good, but GH continues to give TJ and Molly over-the-top scenes every time they air. They can no longer have rational, calm discussions, and instead, everything goes from a 0-10 in seconds.

-- Speaking of 0-10.... what was all that SCREAMING from Carly in the Metro Court lobby. Do high-end hotels really do this?

I’m definitely the most excited for that storyline lol for a lot of reasons, but the fall out could be so good and play out for so long.

As for Molly/TJ, as annoying as they can be, I was on their side today too. This is a much better conflict for them and Kristina than TJ suddenly being so anti-Sonny.

And agreed that the actor playing  Danny did well today. I like how the character’s been used lately. But I still think he needs his brother on the canvas with him though.

And yeah, still not drinking the anti-John/Jagger Kool-Aid. I guess he really is the new Nina now.

But just like how reporting a crime is not worse than committing a crime, FBI agents are not worse than mob bosses

You're right. This is unpopular, and I can't tell you how disappointing it is to hear you let Natalia off the hook this way.

"Technically" she's a victim? Huh? Ava was wrong AND Natalia was wrong. Your post omits all the context about what an awful human being Natalia is.

You'll make me swoon.

Well, then, I should have said more, a lot more. Natalia is a bigot, also rude, and in about 90% of the time I think she is the most immature person in any room. I don't know when I've seen an adult as childish as she behaves! This character, yes, is a truly awful human being. I was just making the point that technically she was victimized by Ava. Ava is also totally wrong in this situation. But, Ava wanted to hurt Sonny & she didn't care about hurting Natalia and Blaze just to get to hurt Kristina, which is the way she hurt Sonny. Talk about ends justifying means! But, still, I understand the unpopularity of the "opinion", such as it is.

There is a certain joie de vivre in Carly being arrested on Laura Wright's 3000th episode. Or am I just being perverse?

    • LOL - this is a perfect description, and that's what I loved about it! May be a bit campy, but it immediately caught my attention in a good way.  I'm not familiar with the Fishing Trip storyline, I'll have to look that up. I've noticed that about Josh, which has made him less attractive to me overall. He just yells a lot when he's not happy. Wow, Reva was married to HB!  LOL - "Always... eventually, and again"
    • I love your ideas. I would love to see Jack grown up this confused unhinged individual. He should hold a grudge against both Brooke and Taylor.

    • Lois's return has been a bust. So disappointing that the writers have never written for her. As with Tracy, the pool of GH vets is so thin, there's no one to pair her with. Doubtful they would go to the trouble of properly recasting a legacy character and then sticking  him with Lois; they're obviously not that invested. If she wants to be on this show, it'll be as a noisy grandma who stays in the background.
    • I love me some Anita and TT. They need to give her a good storyline and I know that it's coming.
    • @Franko Thanks for tagging me. A few days ago I was talking in another thread about the rise of "snarky" critics for TV shows in the '90s online recaps, but this is just more along the lines of a mauling. There's also the unspoken reality that films like Steel Magnolias were seen as movies for women, so therefore they sucked. Pauline Kael also had her share of blunt, at times incredibly nasty remarks, but the vitriol is often balanced by her love for film. I'm not seeing that here.  With that said, the comment about Field's work becoming unbearable describes how I felt when I tried to sit through her and Maura Tierney on ER.
    • I skipped most of Daniel too. I think it's awful he has kids with Nicole, Csrky5 and Chloe and Brady, Bo and Philip do not.

    • Today was very focused on Bo and his illness.  I’m liking how everything is ultimately tied together, even though everybody doesn’t know it yet. The EJ connection seems a little sudden and random though. I’m guessing that that was not on Ron’s agenda. And I’m not really sure why any of these rich people couldn’t help the hospital months ago lol  But I really like how the whole sepsis drug thing is being written a lot more realistically than what we’ve grown accustomed to with Dr. Rolf and all of his wonder drugs. They’re definitely putting more of an effort into this storyline. It feels more real.  Philip was a little whiny and self-pitying today, but I also feel like the writing has improved for him as well. He’s coming off less like a villain and more like a tragic hero. I enjoyed his scene with Stephanie and hopefully it means that at some point, we’ll get a revival of Philip/ Stephanie/Alex. Tying it to Stephanie’s novel could be really good. And, the dorkiness of Xander and Sarah was really sweet too. I’m looking forward to their weekend together and what secrets may or may not come out lol
