Today's "Squeaky, Freaky, Kiki" scene was jaw-dropping. Maybe Luke has D.I.D.? Tracy is clueless of course. Why doesn't anyone take Tracy seriously? Kevin totally blew her off about Luke and went to talk to Scott instead. Luke is in need of some sort of mental intervention!

SoapZone spoilers for this week:

Tracy listens compassionately as Lulu opens up about baby Ben.

Luke keeps throwing himself on Kiki, who doesn't curtail his advances.

Once more, Tracy observes Luke behaving uncharacteristically.

There is also a blurb spec that Luke/Tony may be playing out his final storyline, as a victim of Alzheimer's.

Alzheimer's still doesn't explain all of his actions, but it would be far more meaty than some of the alternatives they've given him.

However that would be a 'whimper' not the 'bang' TG is reputed to have requested for the end.

They had Alzheimer's rumoured for Edward for years as well

Spoilers say Ned points out that he is acting like someone they both know. Did either know Bill that well? I'm trying to figure out who they think Luke is acting like.

Whatever TPTB are doing, it's different from what has been the LuNacy defacto story, so I'm willing to go along with everything.

Yup both Ned and Tracy knew bill

Ned married Jenny Eckert

Ned worked with Julia Barrett and had romance with her too

Bill and Harlan worked together then Bill worked with Tracy some in adversarial role pretty sure

Harlan was part of the cartel that involved Paul with marrying Tracy to take over ELQ

Since Sonny said whoever is backing Julian has been tied to Barrett Industries and Julia Barrett sold her interest in the company (Bill inherited it from Harlan I think majority stockholder)

Bill was killed but that never stopped GH before

I agree, even though it is kind of bizarre Tracy wouldn't recognize she was sleeping with someone else (as if every single thing would be identical lol), I'm willing to go with it cause like you said it is something different for Jane/Tony to play plus whenever they figure out this is Bill we still have the story potential of where is the real Luke and then what happens with him and Tracy

The thing is Luke and Tracy were back together before all of this so it isn't like they would be at odds but who knows where real luke is (maybe he is a frozen popsicle too)

Agreed - Tracy is already fighting to get her Luke back, and if this turns out to be an impostor, Mama will be PISSED. It would be a set-up for his summer hiatus, though they've done the 'Luke is captured' thing a few times for that.

Only problem is Bill Eckert never acted like how Luke's acting. He's acting more like AZ than anyone. I'm still holding out hope that he's just been programmed and he's not Eckert. But that probably won't happen. Either way like Remos said I'm just happy for the change of pace. So I'll go along for now.

^^^^^I was going to ask about that, I vaguely remember Bill but what I do remember was he was not a skeeze. I also remember him dying in the catacombs and Luke bringing his dead body up to the surface. (maybe I'm wrong, but that's what I remember) Luke being programmed seems like a better way to go.

I'm starting to think this is Stavros, not Bill. Or one of the Cassidines. And I don't think he's a duplicate so much as someone has planted something in him. There's no reason to have Bill back.

    • It begs the question; when is a secret room no longer secret? Now that Rafe and half of Salem have been held there, I think it's time for re-branding.
    • Any chance that Sonny and Ric could act like real brothers?
    • I agree that what's happened, whether it was more plausible for a virgin to ask for a diaphragm from her OB/GYN, that questionable.

    • Yikes -a Cane/Phyllis sex scene. Why was there no warning before this episode aired? And of course Phyllis had sex with her bra on.  Had to laugh when Cane, trying to think of Phyllis' password to sneak into her laptop, talks out loud so we (and she) can be clued into what's happening. What is Phyllis' financial standing? At one point she was wealthy enough to run a hotel-which she gave up in an instant(can't remember why-some inane reason) Now she's scrounging around for a job with Cane. The many residents of the GCAC who are living in hotel rooms don't seem to do anything to personalize their space-no photos, books etc. The GCAC must have a strict policy on that. Nikki did look good today. Still find her hairstyle a little dowdy though.
    • Then 87 is the year you're looking for. Vanessa leaves town in Jan 88. When I saw Jenny counseling Dinah about George making the pass at her, all I could think was that Van would be pissed Ross' latest fling was advising her daughter. Cop or not.
    • As much as I hate Phyllis, seeing Billy Flynn in those boxers briefs in today's episode, has me almost tolerating her. BF looks

    • Dear sweet June, you'll get it right eventually.  In the meantime it's a good chuckle.

    • Damn, Leslie went in on Shanice... poor girl! Leslie really can't handle stress or certain emotions well, she lashes out. I also think it's weird she wants to know so many details about Eva's love/sex life. Vernon was sweet to June. It was nice (realistic) to see a customer complain to her though while she's still trying to establish herself. I'll be that guy, but for me personally, my enthusiam/excitement over the show has stalled yet again over the last couple weeks. For the majority, it seems like we're in a holding pattern until Winterfest. It's like they don't want to rock the boat or do much until then, which leaves us in a quiet period here. Are sweeps a thing still these days? Seems odd that we're having a slow November. That ending was good, but I saw that coming... in theory it should have a quick resolution, but I'm guessing Leslie will expose it at Winterfest and it'll get throw out of proportion haha.
    • Yes. Why? I don't really care. Vanessa is also acting dumb, trying to run between tables, on a date with Ross in one room and a business meeting with Alan in another.  One of the few times Van is written as less than the smart woman she was.
