GH PreVUE: Week of June 1 Edition

THIS WEEK ON: GENERAL HOSPITAL

Nikolas and Rebecca give in to their attraction and make love on Wednesday, June 3. Rayner, meanwhile, informs Alexis that Rebecca was illegally adopted off the black market as a baby - which she may or may not already know. Patrick worries when Robin tells him that she can't be away from Emma on Thursday, June 4. Jason has his hands full with Kristina, who he encounters outside of a bar. Rebecca tells Helena she wants nothing to do with her. Kristina fills Michael in on her daddy issues. Alexis reveals Rebecca's shocking connection to Emily to Nikolas on Friday, June 5. Rebecca reunites with her secret cohort, Ethan.

The Inside Story: Borrowed Time

Claudia is privately thrilled that Michael has taken a liking to her; meanwhile, a crushed Carly has no choice but to accept the turn of events. Michael is affected by his reunion with Morgan on Monday, June 1, and has a change of heart about going to live with Sonny after his little brother asks him to come back home with him, Carly and Jax. Jason doesn't play the tape of Claudia ordering the hit on Jerry for Sonny but does tell him in no uncertain terms that he believes Claudia is capable of anything, including having played a part in Michael's shooting. Johnny warns Claudia that Jason has solid evidence against her. Claudia is shaken when a drowsy Michael mentions remembering some snippets from her hospital visits. Carly and Sonny's discussion about Michael ends in a warm moment that a bristling Claudia witnesses. Jason tries to get a handle on Michael who blows up at Robin. Claudia threatens Olivia. Johnny informs a shocked Claudia that he'll hand her to the enemy on a platter if she harms Olivia. Claudia tries to get an uninterested Jax in on her mission to keep Carly away from Sonny. Sonny begins to wonder if Michael should come live with him after all after a private session of Claudia subtly playing Michael against Carly. Claudia's uneasiness returns when Michael brings up her visits again. Claudia, Sonny, Carly and Jax realize Michael is missing from his room. A weak Michael, meanwhile, manages to leave the hospital and make his way to a surprised Kristina's room. Carly overhears Claudia talking to Johnny about Michael. The ensuing confrontation ends in both women taking a fateful fall down the hospital stairs.

A Closer Look: The Ties That Bind

Holly admits to Luke and Ethan that they are indeed father and son. Ethan embraces Luke as his father but bitterly turns his back on Holly. Elizabeth convinces Lucky to give his father a chance and try to forgive him for his past mistakes. Lucky's resolve to forgive dissipates into anger when he sees his father sharing a farewell kiss with Holly. Holly tries to defend Luke to Lucky. Lucky can't let go of his anger towards Luke. Lulu has her hands full with Ethan but does manage to convince her new brother to give Holly a chance. Ethan embraces Holly on Tuesday, June 2. Luke and Holly share a bittersweet goodbye. Ethan and Luke decide to have a DNA test done without Tracy's knowledge.

Such lovely dialogue today....I am so over Lunacy. Yeah he just loves Tracy so much!

Ethan: So would you have done it? Would you have walked out on tracy to go adventure with holly?

Luke: There was a time in my life when i would have done it in a heartbeat. But hell, who am i kidding? I still might if she walks out here and makes the offer.

Ethan: Well, tracy paid her off, so i'm sure she's long gone by now.

Luke: Maybe. Maybe not. You know, english has played this too cute from the beginning. She could have just told us one way or another. She didn't have to drag it out, and it's kind of my fault because i got caught up in the game.

Ethan: What about tracy? Do you think she'll give you the boot?

Luke: Who knows?

Ethan: She's certainly got spirit.

Luke: Yeah, i just wish she kept her dirty mitts off that dna test that caused us, especially you, a lot of trouble.

Ethan: Well, that's life, mate.

At least Robin is the only one who defended Tracy. I think this will be TG's exit storyline when he retires...

Holly: Ethan is my son.

Robin: I don't understand what happened to you. You were always so nice.

Holly: I guess divorce isn't easy for anyone.

Robin: So now you think you're entitled to come into luke's life even though he's married?

Holly: I never dreamed that luke and tracy would last so long. I always thought their marriage was a sham.

Robin: That doesn't give you the right to come and screw it up.

Holly: You've always been so sane and sensible, i don't expect you to understand what i was trying to do. I just -- i just felt luke and i, we deserve a bit more fun.

Robin: Why drag ethan into all of this?

Holly: Is it completely unrealistic to imagine luke and me and ethan riding off into the sunset together? Having one marvelous adventure after the next?

Nice! He makes me want to throw up! I am so over Luke's double talk!! In one breath Tracy can be his greatest challenge and who is the reason he comes back to PC for, and in the next he would easily go off on an adventure with Holly if she asked him to?!?!?! You know I saw this at SoapZone and I think they might be right.........Holly > Tracy > Laura, at least for the moment!

Yeah and probably when Ethan figures it out (there is some stuff saying he wants out of his con but helena won't let him because she has luke) and lulu figures it out, they still probably won't fill tracy in.

My question: If Ethan and Holly leave on good terms, wouldn't he have her phone number or something for I don't know, like emergencies, next of kin stuff? Couldn't he just call her up and tell Tracy Luke isn't with her? I guess Tracy wouldn't believe it. Plus she gives luke an ultimatum and then when he runs off she thinks he blew her off.

It sucks. There is no way to spin it. It sucks. And you know, Tony probably wrote that dialogue himself the other day. If they are divorced when he returns, they won't be married again that is for sure.

Which at this point, she needs to get over him. What doubly sucks is that that cuts her ties to Lulu and Ethan--if she is no longer married or a Spencer. Which means she won't be involved much in their stories.

I haven't watched since May 1st, so I guess it doesn't matter anymore.

Here is a nice article about Emma Samms--and her life story and why she runs that Starlight foundation to grant dying wishes of terminal children. She said she is getting her wish fulfilled now by getting to dance again. She seems like such a lovely person.

Well, I'm back from yet another rainy/cold camping trip. I'm putting my sleeping bag away and not looking at it until July! I just have to made sure my tent is clean and dry. Shiloh is going again next week - and I'll go if they ask me to come - but I'm much more interested in staying home.

As for the show, I'm anxious to see where this story goes 'cause so far it's been quite interesting and more real story for LuNacy than they've had since the heart attack. I don't think it's going to be a dismal summer. If you folks want to believe the worst, go ahead, but I think we will see more play out before this is finished. By TG's own admission he's leaving in the middle of this story and it will continue to play out. The only assumption we can make at this point is not to assume - 'cause the negatively inclined thought Tracy would disappear before now this year and it still hasn't happened. If anything she's had a better showing already this year then she's had in the past few.

I'm curious to know who actually knows what. If Helena if going to use Ethan - as spoilers recorded elsewhere have said - then he knows about Luke. And we already know that Ethan wants Luke to appreciate Tracy more, so he's not going to want to hurt her. Edward's comment "Tracy should be happy, that's the most important thing" wasn't lost on me either. I think there are many more cards to play in this game. Rebecca is still an unknown in all of this, and can hold some answers.

But no matter what happens, this board should have had enough experience by now to realize that spoilers are rarely accurate and even when they are, don't convey the whole story.
