 "Wendy Riche reign of terror" that's hilarious. Isn't that the awful Charles Street years that all the LnLers harken back to as the best Luke we ever had? Guess TG doesn't share that opinion. Every time he speaks lately I can hear Luke in Tony and Tony in Luke. He's really enjoying this stuff - so much for assuming he hates what they give him!

As for the summer stuff - that's two very different pictures of this summer that we've now been given. I know with the tendency is the believe the worst and hope for something better, but after the point they made of Tracy leaving with Luke last year, and the huge mistake in letting Tracy believe he left with Skye, I can't seriously think they would let her believe he left with Holly. She might fear it in the grand scheme - 'cause lets face it, that's Tracy and she never believes she gets to keep the good stuff - but that would be taking LuNacy back 3 years to have that huge a gap.

But whatever they do, it's just another beat in the story. I'll be completely surprised if they show her as little this summer as they did last. I can't see them making that mistake again.

Still haven't seen todays episode.

I had a ton of work and youtube was blocked before I could get to it

DAMN

So now I am really board and I won't get to see it until tonight at like ten because I have band camp (well it's not technically band camp but they call it blow-out and I thought band camp was a little less suss)

Still I WANT TO SEE TODAYS EPISODE

The date of the clip is May 17th, 2005. I remember because she was on all 5 days that week - the 16th was at the Haunted Star with Skye, Luke, and Lorenzo. Tuesday continued those scenes but also had the ones with Emily and Nikolas. Wednesday, she was lured to Vegas. Thursday, she woke up in Vegas, married. And Friday, the Q's reacted to her marriage... Anyway... totally lame that I still remember that but I thought I would share.

Loved Tracy yelling about re-gifting the jewelry today. So funny.

Where did that come from? This fan is extatic! So far 2009 has been a fabulous Tracy year, and I'm certainly enjoying GH more than I did last year. What fans aren't happy? I gotta call in and make sure they know one is.

Nah, I think the Charles Street years where when Laura was hanging out with Mary Mae, Lulu was born, and Luke and Lucy owned that club together.

Wendy Riche was like when Jonathan Jackson's Lucky died, Luke sleeping with Felicia and the two of them plus Laura were searching for Lucky, Luke and Alexis pushing Katherine off the papapet, and that nonsense with Stavros being frozen under GH.

Ah... yeah that wasn't the best. Seriously, the should have freed Luke from Laura in the 80's rather than drag out the LnL crap. It was never much good past '84. But at any rate he's happy with Tracy/Jane.

Something else I've realized, this is the longest Luke has been 'happily married'. Always within 2-3 years one or the other of LnL was either believed dead or they were separated. Tracy isn't the only one who'd broken the record with this marriage.

And how are you doing Baby girl.... life's soap better I trust?

    • Jordan should have been killed or written out a decade ago.
    • Xander kidnapped her a few times when she was a baby I much prefer this bitchy version of Rafe to the dull one we have had for the past few years. Leo would get on my last nerve too and I would probably have snapped by now too. Loved Roman and Doug3. My favourite scenes today. Much better than his forced kindness to Ava. About time somebody pointed out Sophia is an adult any minute and can decide her own life. This is not Handmaid's Tale. I bet Mrs Choi snatches that baby though if Sophia signs it over to 'strangers'
    • Hmm, well, I thought yesterday was "Dialog City" so at least IMO it was well done talk. Today I'm all about how harsh Dante just was to Gio & I get it that he's so scared but it's all coming out like anger - and judgment, harsh judgment. But, what they're doing is putting as much bad, troubling icky stuff between Dante & Gio as they can & it's a set-up. Good writing, acting, directing, tho. What's weird is I only recently realized that Lulu does not know it's Gio.
    • Yes, that's the way it went, the dramatic beats, the increased info dropped. Actually, his being Janice's son was such clever writing, at least IMO.  Yes, I was of this same impression. Both were charming but the first ... more layered maybe? More complex? The second maybe less sophisticated.
    • His original motives were unclear and all we knew was that he was working for Iris. But when it was revealed that Evan was Janice's son we found out that he had fallen in with Iris not because he wanted to follow Iris specifically but because he had his own anti-Rachel agenda. Charles Grant had more charisma than the later recast Eric Scott Woods who seemed younger to me.
    • Throwing this out to the universe: finding Elisabeth Shue's episode of As the World Turns (which I guess would have been circa 1983, maybe just before RDJ started watching Search for Tomorrow).

    • I thought today was still good. Leo is always awful, but the characters treating him like he's a plague feeds my soul. Rafe in particular had been very passive about him, but today was wonderful seeing him put Leo on notice. I really think it's being written that Javi is going to have to eventually take the blinders off and see Leo for who he really is. Them having sex on Gabi's desk made me want to explode. Roman taking in stray Doug was nice to see. And the mention of Frankie and Max was unexpected, but good to know they're at least being thought of. Tate being petty and a bit vindictive by going back to Sophia's as soon as he saw Doug with Holly was entertaining for me. I think I actually like Tate the most out of all of them because he's so damn messy.  Is Holly about to be kidnapped? Her first time? Also, Gabi finally revealing what happened with her the night EJ was shot and the clearing of all the other main suspects, but Johnny made this still feel like an important episode. I think Johnny will be cleared soon enough leaving everybody at a loss for the hell shot EJ. How the real shooter will be revealed is going to be interesting.  Speculation: When Kristen finally puts together that her daughter Rachel shot him, she'll agree to frame her mother for the crime, while keeping her hidden away from Salem.
    • That would have saved the Anita singing segment -- having her by herself, singing quietly and reflectively. Belting it out like she was in church did not work. The black screens fade at the end was a mistake. BTG insists on being different with these fades for the sake of being different, and it's not working.   I thought all of that was just fine. Worked for me.   I'm going to disagree with this. Martin hasn't had many scenes with his parents, but he's been around family A LOT -- and that's what matters. We also know Martin is someone with a hair trigger response. He can be very emotional when discussing an issue before getting to the logic and reason of it all.
