My point was that the first episode was the same as the YouTube video posted by Soaps. Other variations might exist, but I'm referring specifically to the first of __ episodes that I saw which is the same one shown at tonight's Paley event (didn't attend). It's being said that a longer version aired the event but I'm not sure if they decided to extend the opening for just tonight's event for the episode or if they decided to add the longer one for the first episode when it airs on Monday.

Either way, what I know of it, it was the YouTube version thus far.

Oh, my apologies; I misunderstood what you were saying.

Looks like I gave too much away and the first post had to be removed, oh well, lol. Will post again on Monday.

Uh-oh.

Some things I am proud of tonight as a fan:

- I was the first person that cheered and clapped when Sheila Ducksworth mentioned Michele Val Jean's name

- I was the first person that cheered and clapped when Tamara Tunie mentioned ATWT

The show is posting stories on Instagram of some of the cast with actors from the other CBS soaps at an event.

Oh interesting, thanks!  I just checked. Seems to be a combined CBS soaps reception in Los Angeles.
Michele Val Jean is there.

Wait I thought all you wrote was basically the subtext between Anita and her daughters, or did you edit? Even my spoiler free self was ok with that.

There is a strict embargo in place until Monday, February 24.

OH! This just reminded me. I've seen 5 instances of people posting the premiere date as the 25th!!! I've offered the correct info & 2 people thanked but none objected.

The Paley Center panel was amazing to watch on Livestream glad you had a good time @BetterForgotten I could listen to Tamara Tunie for hours, Daphnee Duplaix’s recount of her last story on Passions was also hilarious and it was cool to get so many BTS insights. Jibre Hordges talked about the first few weeks being kind of rough for the newbies and a huge learning curve for everyone collectively and some the details they dropped in this panel confirmed it. I’m glad TT convinced production to stop giving the cast too many scripts in advance.

Also nice to see the Y&R and B&B cast members at the event in LA. I spotted Keith David chopping it up with Clifton Davis in one IG story, he’d make a great villain on the show.

Same I agree with you. The theme music is awful.

Agreed.  I think it's worse that GH's theme song.  LOL

The first 15 seconds are good then it just kind of falls flat. The mundane ending was the worst part for me.

For me, the opening is strike two for Julie Carruthers (strike one being the lighting). She is the EP most responsible for the actual production, so I'm putting it on her.

I also have a feeling Ben Gavin won't last long. In the (albeit limited) clips I have seen with him, including his shot in the opening, I get nothing.

I'm calling it! Anita is the one with a long-lost son, either put up for adoption or believed to have died. No way she just has two daughters. No spoiler. No inside info. Pure gut feeling.

The character's background is the perfect setup. There is no getting out of the South Side of Chicago with a child so leaving the child to be raised as an aunt or cousin's child would be the better option rather than to give up a career.
