I wonder if that woman who's run off the road is Andre's mother and Ted's sister? I remember the early description of both of Andre's parents being killed in an accident and then he inherits a double fortune as a result. Of course, this means a rewrite would've had to occurred since this woman was in the vehicle by herself and is not dead. I don't know.

I splendidly enjoyed that promo. A lot of exciting shots! This should be a fun watch. Everything looks solid.

Since Bill and Hayley are getting married so early in the story I take it they have been dating for a while. Or is it a business arrangement? Dani’s reactions imply the divorce womb is fresh.

I am very intrigued by what Bill said at the door. And will Vernon be a Victor Newman or Tom Horton?!

Dani must be the showy role. Hmm…

On a superficial note, the men are all FINE!

Has there been any info yet on whether BTG will be available on platforms/networks outside the US? Really hoping it's available internationally from the start, there's definitely an audience out there.

There's been info in this thread about Canada. I know some people from Australia who are really hoping that BTG will be there.

I would be surprised if they don't leverage the Bell/P&G linkages at some point. It's easy eyes on the show with various guest characters.

The Y&R characters visiting the country club would be disoriented to be in such a large setting surrounded by so many people...

The trailer already has me going back through all the past cast/character announcements which put a persona and thumbnail sketch to the various daughters, sons, cousins, etc. The whole bit with the young woman being run off the road hits different when you realize who (I think) that is and what baggage she apparently has.

I have a feeling Nicole's 'perfect' husband Ted may be the other dark horse here - I find that whole summary pretty ominous while the promos have us deliberately honed in on messy Dani and her family drama. Though for someone who was always very lukewarm on Karla Mosley in the past (though I admittedly haven't seen much of her B&B work) I think I, like the rest of us, may end up ride or die for Dani Dupree.

I kind of did the same thing and, thus far, a lot of personalities match what the breakdowns said. It's nice to see those breakdowns be developed properly.

Like you, I've been slightly lukewarm on Karla Mosley, although, that's also due to the fact I wasn't a fan of her character on Bold, but seeing her as Dani you can tell she has sunk her teeth to the gums into the material, and isn't letting go. Seeing her semi "broken" while making herself up, clearly preparing to go to Bill's office and make herself known, it's beautiful. I'm actually excited to see Daphnée Duplaix, as I wasn't a watcher of Passions or One Life, and I've always heard positive things about her and how she's been so ignored in daytime, so that's where I'm most excited.

At the risk of offending anyone am I the only white European person who just doesn't "get" Tyler Perry, but gets what exactly they're going for with this trailer? Maybe there's something subtle in the language or just anything else, but it connects.

Tyler Perry's shows are weird where it's just trash-o-rama. It's more like they justify their behavior because they're black (which oddly feels racist in a roundabout way?), not the other way around. Does that even make sense?

I applaud any white person who admits that they don't like TP's stuff, instead of pretending that they do, because they're afraid of what the NAACP will do to them.

If you're going to represent Black people, or ANY people, then REPRESENT.  Don't just reinforce stereotypes.  Instead, shatter those stereotypes into so many pieces, so that all the king's horses and all the king's men will NEVER put Sambo or Topsy back together again.

I think that's what MVJ is doing there with BTG.  She's saying, in effect, that white folks do not own the rights or the patent to being messy.  As long as you've got money, you've got problems!

Now, would I have developed BTG in the same way?  No, I wouldn't've, because I was practically weaned on Douglas Marland and Agnes Nixon's storytelling; so, I like to follow stories about different socioeconomic classes.

But I respect what MVJ is attempting to do, I think it's long past time for someone to do it, and I wish her nothing but the best.  (Follow that rainbow, 'Chele!)

Hopefully we'll get some news soon, including that it will be available here in the UK.

I wonder if we'll get cross overs with BTG at some point, or is it in it's own universe separate from BOLD and YR?

Kind of hope it's in its own universe.

There do appear to be various socioeconomic strata on BTG, starting with

the character of the bar(?) owner and her daughter who have secrets, and I think some of the white characters.

But we'll know more when we see it.
