I'm one of the people who do care about how the show looks but from what we've seen, I think the show looks good and does look modern. It looks like they have a good variety of well-designed sets and the sets look like they're a good size. We also have sprinkles of location shooting so overall they do appear to have a modern production model that should attract an audience. What I'm most curious about now is how the music and directing will be. I'm also looking forward to seeing how the writers structure the show and I'm hoping for good scripts.

Compared to some of the other recent soap launches, this really feels like a labor of love so I do think they'll give us something worthwhile. Even if everything doesn't work at launch, I feel confident they will make it work in time. When you look at PC or Sunset Beach, I feel there wasn't much care given to giving us a great show. With Passions, I do think JER had a clear vision and for the most part achieved what he wanted to achieve.

I'm just thankful we don't appear to have a show that's just thrown together. If this is successful and another network decides to do a soap I hope they take similar care in making it.

Yes to all of this. And knowing that three of daytime's directors went to Doraville to film this serial is exciting! I have complete faith in what we're about to see in in 14 or so days.

I think this show will attempt to have surprises and shock value lurking at almost every turn. Even to the point where it might seem offensive to some people. Yeah, I think it's gonna be THAT kind of show.

I wonder what the nationwide clearance is for the show across all the CBS affiliates. New soaps have typically struggled with that - B&B, in fact, went years without being scheduled by some affiliates and it took a vigorous campaign by the Bell’s to help make that happen.

The plus side is that this is the first daily soap debuting during the streaming era. Hoping that’s strong to compensate for unpredictable linear TV ratings.

I suppose I'll be subscribing to this streaming service soon since watching it live is impossible for me unfortunately. The workplace and all that?

I have Xfinity, and the TV grid is available for the next 2 weeks. Finally, today, BTG showed up on the grid and I was able to schedule it on my DVR.

I'm in the Pittsburgh area where it'll air after BOLD from 2-3 PM -- directly against GH.
