That's when you know it's about to get real ghetto up in here, lol!

Well, it DOES seem like an appropriate time to remind everyone:

(Damn, I wish Jonelle Allen and Vivica A. Fox were part of the BTG cast.  I seriously wish the catfight had lasted the entire episode with no other storylines featured.  That would have been BOSS.)

Lol. THE highlight from that show.

And, I'm going to note: nothing about this felt "ghetto" or "ratchet". Camp? Yes. But it felt like soap. The "swoop" sound of the shoes flying off Jonelle Allen's feet will always be hilarious to me, and the way she pulled up the train of her dress, haha.

Usually, I detest watching catfights on television, but Doreen and Maya's catfight was different for two reasons.  One, Sally Sussman, MVJ and the rest of GENERATIONS' writing staff had been building up to it, so it didn't feel like Doreen and Maya just decided one evening to wipe the floor with each other; and two, it wasn't just a bunch of hair-pulling and heavy panting, like most other catfights tend to be.  Doreen and Maya's fight was a real FIGHT.

Catfight? How about a Dogfight?

Vernon and Bill for sure.

You DO realize Clifton Davis is almost eighty years old.  I mean, he looks GREAT for his age, but....

I think the artform of the catfight is too choreographed these days; the last one I truly recall was Carly vs. Connie on GH in the lobby of the Metro Court when Carly saw the documents concerning Kate's D.I.D. status. But this one, on Generations, felt kind of organic?

The trailer was "exclusive" to Essence magazine. Usually, when an outlet gets exclusivity, that's how it is done. The only way for an unlisted video to get shared is when someone with knowledge of its existence shares the link with others publicly.

CBS might make the link available to others in the future, but it's likely to be re-uploaded as we get closer to the premiere instead since the upload date would appear older in terms of sorting by date as it pertains to the aforementioned algorithm.

Ah, I see. Thank you for the clarification. Maybe that's why I couldn't access the video from Germany. Because it was still unlisted.

It aired twice today during the Bold & The Beautiful.

Jonelle and Vivica will show up very soon on BTG.  If I keep speaking it into the universe, it will happen.

Per one of the recent interviews, Vivica is apparently the one who told Sheila Ducksworth to talk to MVJ about creating a new soap. I agree she deserves to appear as she's one of a select group of breakout stars who's always continued touting the soaps, both before and after her film career hit the skids.
