Didn't you just ask us how the story was?

LW does press because soap actors do press when stuff happens onscreen, lol. Carly shared scenes with Jason before he fled her home, but the story is not all about Jason and Carly. But this is all spun up on Twitter because couples stans get tight because they labored under a misconception that Jason would show up at Liz's door instead and then got mad. I don't care about either couple so it doesn't matter to me. Stan twitter is not an accurate depiction of anything, I care if a story is being executed well. I don't care if it has Carly or Liz in it.

Yep basically all of PC knows now and we are starting to get others feelings

Not a Jarly fan but Jason would seek out Carly first

Loved the Danny stuff but not the gun lesson

I really want a Monica Jason scene (S)

Wonder if Ms Charleson is up to it

One tweet: Social media is DRAGGING Jason’s return

I wish we could put a moratorium on posting tweets from random twitter accounts. Especially when we couple that with declaring their one tweet is somehow a consensus of the audience.

Lol!  I can only imagine #25yearsofLiason isn't the most satisfying place for payoff in a fanbase.  As #32yearsofBrenda here can attest lol.  That's not at all what's happening onscreen and I thought we learned from the Brook Lynn dress debacle that people don't always post what's happening.  Just feelings and vibes on twitter.

That's how they choose to honor Lila Quartermaine's memory?  A [!@#$%^&*] day camp???

Anyways.  I've come to realize that even the graffiti you read on the restroom walls at your local Arby's carries more weight than most of what you'll find on social media.  And I don't care about Jason/Carly or Jason/Liz either.

If anything, I think GH should really shake it up and pair Jason with someone totally unexpected.  Like Laura!  Of course, that'll leave Donnell Turner a sobbing mess in the rain, but oh well!

RUMORED: Steve Burton refused to play Jason Getting his Q Memories back and intergrating them into his life as Jason Morgan. If True, he can kiss my butt. Actors should never get to say no to story. If you dont wanna play, then dont come back. Plain & Simple

No exit. Just stopped appearing. In fact werent her and AJ still a couple?

I would think a recast would happen; judging from her Linkedin, she worked for an investment group up until August of 2023, and has not acted since 2001.

She left Port Charles to return to Philadelphia to care for her ill father, David Ward, and her relationship with AJ ended, due to his alcoholism.

After Keesha left, GH fired Joseph C Phillips and recast with Monti Sharp. I like Monti but it seemed the recast was because GH wanted Justus to be more shady and JCP didnt want to do that because Monti was out a year later

    • Maeve makes a few sporadic appearances, but returns full-time the next spring/summer. She's back in time to see Bill and Michelle graduate, although she skulks around town and wasn't going to tell anyone she was alive.
    • Aww, yeah it's very heartbreaking and I mostly enjoyed the Nola/Vanessa scenes because they finally let their walls down and came together in a beautiful moment. So Nola was at the hospital already and bumped into Vanessa, who had MRI papers that fell out of her hand and Nola went down to pick them up and asked her what was going on. Later, Vanessa confided in her about her disease. Then, Nola told Zachary on the beach (he prodded her and already alluded to knowing something was going on with Van), and then Vanessa found out she told him and got a little upset. Now, however, Nola is strangely absent while everyone is mourning her death. I'm curious if Nola will actually tell people about her MRI results. I would assume so. Only Nola, Rick, Roger and Zachary know anything, although there is the MRI results letter from the mail that everyone has missed seeing at home. I'm sure it'll all come out at some point. But... I just saw the next episode and the opening already cut Vanessa out and added Dahlia and Zachary. I guess Maeve is gone for a long time

That will break my heart seeing the town continue to mourn her and assume she's dead. I can't wait to see her return though, and I have to imagine feelings will be torn between loving that she's alive and being very angry she did all of this. While I hate what Vanessa is doing, I'm happy to hear it's not totally against her character. I think you're right, had Henry still been around, she wouldn't put him through this. I'm still surprised she is with Bill, though. I get her feelings on Matt, because she wants him to move on, but still very heartbreaking. I'm glad this was Maeve's choice to have a break vs. being fired.    Interesting, so I'm curious to see who they eventually pair Phillip with. They're flirting with a Phillip/Annie pairing, but I'm not sure if they'll go that route with the Jeva drama, her growing pill addiction, and Rick's past with her.  Ugh, yeah I'm so sad to see Bridget do a total 180 in the last couple weeks. She has always been a strong character from what I've seen, but now she's just bending over backwards to get Hart to love her and it reeks of desperation. Yeah, sure, this new Hart is eye candy, but I'm already tired of seeing Hart/Dinah have sex all over Springfield and the Cayman Islands haha.
    • Yes.  I remember them together during the early summer of 1986.  They didn't share scenes again for 30 years until 2017 because Carrie wasn't on the show when Anna returned during Sydney's kidnapping.
    • I can see Kim being that way. Well, Kyle didn't have to say yes. LOL. The suicide attempt feels plot-driven. I don't know if even Long could've made it work. She'd spent so much time trying to make Reva and Kyle into a couple, it feels odd to just have them give up. Not to mention how odd it is to have Maeve agree to marry him. Re Charita---surely they could've at least tried  finding clips with who was still there. Maybe they wouldn't have been "big" moments, but surely she'd interacted with Ross, Vanessa, and Henry. Vanessa had dated Ed, FCOL. But Mo and Rick were there---surely they could've bothered to find some clips of her with them (and they did interact a fair amount) and used them. And with Ed they could've found some shot of her talking to him and just not cut to whoever was playing Ed in the clip. That to me is what feels lazy---they had more than a year to figure it out, and they went with a bunch of photos. If you were sort of centering it on Rick anyway---then find clips with them and use 'em.
    • I definitely think it's time to write off Nina for good. I think her killing Drew might actually be a good idea. She could completely lose it after losing both Sasha and Willow and she ends up murdering Drew and eventually she gets caught and sent away to prison for a long time.
    • I hope it's okay to post this here(as in from DC)
    • Quick question - did Christie and Leann share any scenes together in the '80s before Leann left the show?
    • This is the perfect way to encapsulate the situation. So many morally-reprehensible stories were foisted on the show and its characters in ATWT's dwindling years. Rape should never be used as a cheap plot device or in a way that degrades the victim. Jack's sexual assault was another heinous example of how nasty the the show's tone had become. The fact that people like Hogan Sheffer, Ron Carlivati, Jean Passanante, Charles Pratt, Dena Higley, etc., somehow end up winning awards for their material, decimates the credibility and integrity of the awards, IMHO. Soaps used to have a solid moral core and did not originally wallow in the gutter, rolling around in filth and depravity just to be cool, hip, campy, or whatever else modern-day PTB aim for. Thank you. Cruelty, degradation and misogyny are not components which lend themselves to successful soaps, which have always been predicated on warmth, family bonds, and providing a comforting haven for their audience. The genre has been crippled because the cynical and ignorant executives in charge understand neither the shows nor what the audience wants to see.
