Her contract ended in January 2024. In October 2023, she attempted to begin negotiations to renew her expiring contract. I believe negotiations begin with at least three months remaining on a contract. 

Plus the Days cast wanted Sonja to replace Alarr. I suspect Drucker was, maybe still is, an Alarr lackey. I don’t expect much from her regime.

I expect ZERO from Drucker. Bad choice, especially since she worked under Alarr the whole time. Drucker appears to be weak. Where was she all these years of Alarr abuse????

January episode must have been her last one.  That's why her story, Holly and Tate were abruptly left in the air.

I wonder how this will affect the show overall. This is NOT a good look for Corday or anyone involved with him. I have no faith in the new EP at all, cause she worked under Alarr

Ken Corday's incompetent and damaging leadership rears its head once again. Absolutely disgraceful how poorly he handled this and allowed Alarr is go on like this for years.

it's bad, I mean really bad to fire someone who's basically a whistleblower. Like damn, Corday might as well fork it over now. I kinda hope this bankrupts him

Isn't it interesting to get this context, because we've attributed the abrupt end of that plot to the scabs and Ron C, but this seems to be the actual issue at play (or at least another variable).

The January episodes were filmed last summer. I believe she was still filming after Alarr was fired, probably up until this January when her contract expired.

I don’t think he cares. His kids aren’t going to take over the show, so it’ll end for good once he decides to retire. I think he just wants Days to reach 60.

Alarr was the scab head writer so I suspect that and the investigation into him led him to write out Nicole and the others. 

He'll care when he's bankrupt. lol  What he's done to his parents legacy is appalling

That’s a fair point. Seems he was content to golf and compose his music while Alarr did whatever he wanted with no oversight.

It pretty much answers the questions I had concerning the stories and why they were abruptly ended.

Oh dear God no. But DAYS being DAYS, you can't rule anything out. 

I'm glad Ari is fighting back, but so sad she's leaving the show. She being a dynamic force of the Salem canvas, and she'll be missed.
