So, Steffy's hair is soooo dark now, I actually thought for a hot second that Finn was kissing Luna when I first turned on the TV! I was like...what the hell?! LOL

And, in case we forgot, we were told for the milionth time that Finn saved Eric's life, but I'm not sure anyone really knows how. All we needed was for someone to poke their head in that office to remind us for the millionth that Carter is "like family" and Thomas has "changed."

The RJ and Zende stuff could be SO MUCH better if it were more subtle and gradually built. I'm glad Zende mentioned the orphanage and getting adopted. That would be interesting to explore becasue it would get into who he really is deep inside and how it's imapcted him. Who am I kidding? This show doesn't do deep. To make things interesting, Luna should actually be looking at Zende and thinking...hmmmm...I might have more in common with THIS guy than the one who's had everything handed to him. Dare I dream?

So Eric gets a terminal illness. Has some kind of transplant/operation for who knows what. In recovery, although we don't know from what.

Dr. Finn goes to the Forresters  to tell Eric his "markers" look better than expected, and that it's all due to Eric's "determination." Even better, the entire medical community is impressed by Eric!

You cannot make this stuff up.

@ranger1rg Isn't fascinating that B&B is the only US soap in history that can't do soap staples: doctors, lawyers, trials or murder mysteries well?

In fact, most attempts have been outright failures. I get not being able to do one, but all of them?

The Belief ownership saga was actually the only time they knocked it out of the park on legal.

It's just all so lazy, and that's what I find most offensive. I'd respect BOLD more if they explained the medical stuff and got it wrong rather than getting this -- a complete lack of any attempt at all.

It means no research was done, and the audience is again taken for granted.

Why would a hot, beautiful woman like Donna... be with a... 80/90 year old man, who fu-ked her mother and her sister...

This has been one of the worst pairings even and I feel sorry for JG that she has to play this [!@#$%^&*] and call him honey bear.

The only scenario I can see is that Donna is just an unofficial escort. Which is completely possible.

He looks like her grandpa.

I am all for age difference, but after 40-50 years, it starts looking kinda disgusting.

JG is 53 and JMcC is 79. You'd never guess.

Heaven forbid they paired JG with Aaron Spears again (Justin) and bring back Marcus! The funny thing about Donna being portrayed as a bimbo: JG got her MBA at Pepperdine.

The story that should be told: Brooke marries Eric shortly before he dies. Brooke is officially crowned the Forrester Matriarch. Brooke should be running FC with Steffy.

The kicker: since Brooke is now a mainstay in Bel-Air social circles, she wants to keep FC as a classic couture. Steffy is the one pushing edgier fashion to the brand relevant (except no bedroom line).

LOL you know compared to everything boring that’s going on right now that actually would be funny and entertaining!

Wayyy back in 2016 when Quinn and Eric started their affair I could have sworn McCook was over 80 back then lol yet he doesn’t til turn 80 til this summer.

JG was such a vibrant actress on Y&R looking back it’s really dumb her Donna got stuck in some really dumb rivalry with Pam over Honey Bear to the point both Pam and Donna appeared as contestants on TPIR. And I wish he past history with Justin and Marcus would be actually brought up I hated how the disposed of Justin so easily a few years back in that silly Bill/Liam in prison story.

    • The timing is strange, though. How far in advance would they normally be on location? The Achille Lauro hijacking was on October 7, 1985. Nancy had arrived in Egypt in the storyline by October 18. But the character of Hawk, Chris' Native American friend from Arizona, had already appeared onscreen by September and brought a letter telling Chris to be in Egypt by October 25th.  Why did they already have the link to Arizona before the reason to cancel the shoot in Egypt?  The dust and the jar it came in were from Egypt though. Nancy bought it there and sent it to Mac as a gift before she came back to the states and followed Chris to Arizona.
    • Actually that is not what happened. Nor is the timing right for it to have been. We learned from a WOST interview with Pete Lemay  in 2006, which can be found on YT, that it was Fred Silverman's idea to do the 90 minute show. I don't know how much you know about him but he had these amazing successes as head of daytime at both ABC & at CBS. Then he came to NBC where basically everything he touched turned NOT TO GOLD but to shite. Some of the most expensive shows ever produced up to that time were huge flops. Although even he, like a broken clock, could be right on occasion. However, as we know, he was not right about the 90 minute show. As a matter of fact, afterward,  NBC programmers, who worked FOR him, were asked why they did it & they were quoted as saying it was because they couldn't think of anything else to try. It was a stupid idea from a man who had reached the point where he was throwing anything at the wall to see if it would stick.

    • I stopped watching Another World in 1990. Simply, lost interest in the show.  I had watched the show from 1973 to 1990. The 90 minute show started the decline of AW.  NBC panicked with expanding AW due to the GH hoopla. As mentioned above, 1982 was a trainwreck for AW.  The introduction of the Shea family, the movie storyline involving Jamie, and Steve Frame favoring Rachel over Alice. The writers went into that direction due to the forgettable performance of Linda Borgeson.

    • Ive seen that theory thrown out but the one thing against it is that Leslie and her family lived in Chicago. She only came back to DC last year after her husband died. Unless they say Alan made a trip to DC and died while away, she wouldnt know about that. However I do think the angle of her finding out that Martin was involved could work as that gives her leverage against Bill too for covering it up. She'd want to get revenge on him by threatening to have him disbarred
    • What a good write-up @Errol! Nice seeing the nod to Duplaix's lead.
    • The Egypt location shoot was cancelled because of the Achille Lauro cruise ship hijacking

    • And, to me it is a little bit hilarious that AW fans all over continue to refer to it as Egyptian Dust Recently elsewhere I've been running polls. When did you stop watching AW or What storyline caused you to stop watching AW. You may be interested to know that sticking it out till the bitter end is winning by a landslide. Next highest vote getter is - no surprise - Frankie's murder. So that covers like 60% & next 20%. Then the votes drop way down to 10% and well below but a wide array of reasons are given, including but not limited to  Justine Lumina Rachel having twins at her age, how ridiculous Mac's death the 90 minute show firing JC, George R & Dwyer Hmm, I know there are a few more, in the 1%-3% range but I cannot think of what they are. Sorry, my bad. Should have made notes but I didn't know I would be posting about it. LOL!!
