Didn't I read somewhere that HOW TO SURVIVE A MARRIAGE's very first episode begin with a bedroom scene?

HTSAM debuted in January 1974, so they probably did show a scene like that.

I think Y&R which debuted in March 1973 was already pushing the envelope when it came to sex scenes. I noticed in the first episode they had Sally & Snapper post sex already redressed having a conversation, but I remember seeing a publicity photo where Sally is in her slip in front of the mirror and Snapper is behind her like he is putting the moves on her. I wonder if that was a scene that was pulled out of episode 1 before it aired or if that was taken from a later show?

I wish I could find that 1968 or 1969 episode of The Doctors with Matt and Maggie. It was clearly implied they had sex on their lunch break. I remember Matt was shirtless and Maggie may have been in a slip. They also showed them making up the bed after they done the nasty 🤣. I just can't remember if they had a scene of them lying in bed together.

And of course, you also had the infamous shower scene (although, I've never seen it!) between Jaime Lyn Bauer and Tom Selleck which suggested both were nude.

I hope someday that episode surfaces. Surely someone at CBS who is a fan of Selleck sneaked into the archives and made a copy of that.

Bauer & Selleck joked that it's been so long ago they barely remember doing it.
