Webmaster Errol Posted January 18 Webmaster Share Posted January 18 FOX Television Stations and Hearst Television have renewed “The Jennifer Hudson Show” for a third season, keeping the daytime talk show hosted by EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony) winner Jennifer Hudson on the air through at least the 2024-2025 television season. The show is produced and distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution. In addition to FOX and Hearst, the talk show also airs on stations owned by the Sinclair Broadcast Group, TEGNA, Nexstar Media Group, Scripps Media, and Gray Media Group, among other station groups. “Jennifer is a rare talent, both in front of and behind the camera. Her enthusiasm and endearing demeanor radiates from the stage and onto television screens everywhere. It’s no wonder her audience continues to skyrocket. We are so proud of the entire Jennifer Hudson Show team for their amazing success, and we look forward to another year full of exciting moments, engaging conversations, and stellar guests,” said Channing Dungey, chair and CEO of the Warner Bros. Television Group, in a recent statement announcing the renewal news. “I am so humbled by all the love the show has received these past two seasons, and I thank YOU for watching every day,” said Hudson of the show’s third season pickup in an exclusive shared with fans via her show’s weekly newsletter. According to the latest Nielsen figures shared by Warner Bros., the show’s current second season is averaging 4.4 million total P2+ weekly viewers and has seen triple-digit increases in social engagement. Season two launched in early October after producers delayed the show’s premiere due to the WGA strike. Gwen Stefani, Niall Horan, Taye Diggs (“Guiding Light”) and Cedric the Entertainer were some of the show’s first guests upon its return. Distributed in national syndication by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution, “The Jennifer Hudson Show” is executive produced by Hudson, Mary Connelly, Andy Lassner, Corey Palent, Graehme Morphy, and Walter Williams III, with LaNeé Griffin as co-executive producer.
