I noticed that too.....it just felt different.  I thought these last two episodes have been good.

Emily O'Brien was great today and it reminded that she's a phenomenal actress.

It looked like something was going on with him.  Maybe he's taking drugs as well?  Maybe to cope with the loss of the baby?

It appeared to me as if EJ was having a panic attack which he worked himself out of. If that's where they're going with this, it wouldn't be such a surprise for it to first manifest in a period of great stress & EJ/Nicole definitely are in a place where stressors just keep on coming!

Of course, the ending was classic where one person, Tate, is telling the absolute unvarnished truth & then another person lies & says they did it to protect them, Brady, and then Tate himself lies & says he did it to protect him, Brady! I don't think any genre does that dance except soaps!

I've been behind on episodes, so haven't been posting. I loved Nicole's therapy session. I was not at all surprised that Nicole could make love. Nor did I find it surprising that now Abe loves Paulina. However, I am bored with his amnesia. Are they going to make it permanent?

God yes, she's on the regular rotation.

Here, love, meet your directors: Janet Spellman-Drucker, Noel Maxam, Angela Tessarini, Scott McKinsey (Beverlee's son), The Monster Alarr (till April, dammit), Sonia Blangiardo Goins & David Shaughnessey (brother to Charles Shaughnessey & father to Amy)

Holly said they were ADHD drugs (so Adderall I assume), but the paramedics and Tripp said it was an opioid overdose.  I mean maybe the pills were cut with fentanyl or something, but I a bit interested in what she actually took.

I still think there might be something to EJ's behavior that's not just bad acting lol.

    • Yes, that was his last appearance.
    • I am ready for Joss to take a nice long trip to see her father in Australia and give the character a break and a recast. If the show is hell bent on keeping Eden at least give the girl stories that play to some of EM's strengths.  Dead boyfriends, sex tapes, trying to become a Dr., and now a spy?  None of that works for a character that should be a bitchy, spoiled brat causing trouble in the background.  Not the younger leading heroine.
    • Too bad Anne Meacham is no longer living.  Wouldn't it be great to see Louise Goddard appear as Anita and Vernon's housekeeper????

    • The writers need to stop writing Nick/Sharon as forever young and beautiful star-crossed lovers and write them as the middle aged adults with grown children that they are.
    • Yes. He was asleep in the living room, over in the chair that is sideways to the room, but faces it & he had one of his bad dreams in the exact same way as always & as always it woke him up. Is that a thing? Are there bad dreams that for some reason always wake you?

    • Yeah, I was fickle. I abandoned baby watch & just tried to think of really well matched pairings. Yeah, they sent Carter & Thomasina away far too soon for my way of looking at things.  I REALLY liked them & they were rare being both young & African Americans.
    • My watching in that time period was sketchy.  After high school, I didn't have a TV.  I would watch in the dormitory common room  my first year away from home, but then after that I lived in a rental with housemates who didn't want TV.  I think I caught up on the soaps during school(univ) vacations, when visiting my sister's house.  And then many many years later on soapnet?  Not sure. I had no idea that Jeff ever tried suicide. Reading just now is the first I ever heard of that. Interesting. I will agree that Monica wanted Jeff out of the way so she could be with Rick, but she would have wanted him gone emotionally.  But I don't remember watching Jeff having any medical issues, so I don't know if she would have wanted him dead.
    • Didn't he have a nightmare last week?
