I know Jess Walton lives in Oregon but I'm glad she's been airing recently. I understand the old-fashioned beauty marks that many people have. But to me that is usually a bit away from the lip line or more on a cheek. If I had a mole touching my lip or directly under my nostril, I would surely check into having it removed. Especially if I were an actress. St. Helens my whole life, and lived through its many eruptions (the Big One May 18, 1980), the explanation that a soap character "fell into a volcano" seemed perfectly normal to me.
