So, since I was given a voucher toward another magazine instead of a refund, I opted to get Inside Soap UK and paid the difference. Tell me why Soap Opera Digest couldn't be bothered to do something as simple as this in at least one issue. I mean, it didn't take much work or effort and would be a reason to check out the magazine.

Did you see the list on page 6?

I just hit CTRL-F and searched some names to see how many hits on the page. Not a perfect method as they may have been mentioned elsewhere on the page, but just as a fun and easy way to estimate. This list isn't meant to be complete, just some names I guessed would be high for each show:

Hogestyn 184

Sweeney 183

Hall 181

Benard 170

Alfonso 166

Reckell 134

Braeden 103

Francis 102

Bergman 98

Lang 85

Geary 74

Lucci 64

Zimmer 41

How do you find page 6?

This is along the lines of "End of an Era" and "Good Memories"

Recently I went to the Locher room videos & watched & listened to Stephanie Sloane, of DIGEST. Great chat! For starters, she remembers being in her crib & her babysitter watching EON & seeing the opening on the TV. That's amazing to remember something from that young! As a child, she also remembers AW because her mother watched it, so to her, it was the background of what was going on.

As a teen she chose AMC to get into, Greg & Jenny, Angie & Jesse & then when they had the jet ski death, that was it & she gave up AMC. She switched to DAYS & became a BOPE fan! Next she checked into GH for the L&L wedding like the rest of the world.

In college, she studied Film, Radio & TV. After she interviewed at DIGEST Meredith called her to tell her she got the job, that same day. The GL Editor Donna Hoak taught her how to be a show editor. For her first interview she was to do Ian Zierling, who was about to be on this new show Beverly Hills 90210. He had a friend from the show with him & asked could she interview him, too. Breezily, she said she sure could. That turned out to be the first interview with Luke Perry! Her first show assignment was AW.

Maybe Woman's World could incorporate a soap section?

Years ago I was subscribing to Metropolitan Home which ceased publication and for the next year or so I was lumbered with Woman's Day.

@JAS0N47   Just to be clear, that's most out of DAYS covers, not out of all SOD covers, correct?

Yes. I also posted the full list of everyone on the covers earlier in this thread, so if anyone wants to figure out who the most-appearing person on the cover is out of all of the soaps, the data is there to figure it out!

YES!! And, again, thank you for that info! Page 6 of this thread. You rock, Jason!

Good lord. Stephanie Sloane was a nightmare! So so so glad she’s out of a job. A true nightmare. Not a nice person. Not surprised SOD folded under her incompetent leadership. Buh bye Stephanie. I hope you learned a lesson.

Do you have any facts to back any of that up?

So, your list only goes to the end of 1989?

FYI/FWIW Steph now has an author's page up.

Only now her email icon goes to [email protected] so that's bio & email new today for Steph.

It's all there from 1975-2023. I think someone posted as I was posting the lists, so there might be a post or two separating the full list.

I just checked. It was you who did that post which separated the full list!

Oh, god, I'm sorry. I didn't even know such a thing was possible.

No, I wasn't saying it was your fault. I just said that's what happened. I was making them in posts of 3 years each, and they seemed to just keep being added to the same post. It wasn't my intention to keep them all in the same post.
