"Please tell me you can hear me, I'm expressing my love.

I won't stop until I get you; I'm not letting go.

I'm-a run into your heart like a kid in a store,

And take every ounce of love and beg you for more."

Christmas songs from Sweden

I just love the Swedish language. I have studied it for several years, but I've forgotten so many words since I don't practize it regularly enough.

Even though German and Swedish are quite close when it comes to vocabulary, the latter sounds so much more melodic, especially when sung.

Just compare these versions of two Disney songs:

Colors of the Wind (Färger i en vind / Farbenspiel des Winds):

We are One (Vi är en / Wir sind eins):

This song means a little more to me each year. Too bad it's one of Madonna's less remembered songs (apparently she never sings it - does she regret it?)

It was a #1 hit for her in the summer of 1992.

She seems to neglect a lot of her ballads on tour and on compilation albums.

Then again, all of her ballads from the 80's until 1995 are on her ballads compilation, Something To Remember.
