Of course I guess it hasn't been much of a hit for him, so perhaps the very depressing angle was what he should have gone with. I think that woman's voice suits the song better than Joe's. I think he would be better off going more in an Erasure direction -- she's a little more Pet Shop Boys. They don't seem to care about Joe at all. The show only cares about controversy and stunts -- they're more interested in Cheryl Cole's career than in any of the contestants. Saddling Joe with that poor Christmas single was a sign. So far his new single hasn't done all that well, I don't think.
