The Official “General Hospital” Fan Club Weekend will be back in full force this summer, Debbie Morris, the fan club’s president announced last week via her new website, DebbieMorrisTV.com. This marks the first time the highly sought after event will be taking place since 2019 and the first in-person post pandemic.

Scheduled for the weekend of Thursday, July 27 through Sunday, July 30, 2023, the annual gathering brings fans of “General Hospital” from all over the world to the Los Angeles area as they spend time with their favorite actors from the ABC drama series which is currently celebrating its 60th year on television. The series debuted April 1, 1963.

At press time, information on event location(s), cast members scheduled to attend and specific events taking place had not been announced. However, a message on Morris’ website notes, “we have planned a chock-full weekend of events where fans of the show can engage with their favorite ‘General Hospital’ actors like never before. Many details are still in the works, and you will be the first to know when they are complete.”

In addition to the show’s 60th anniversary, this year the official fan club is celebrating its 48th year overall and the official fan club weekend will celebrate its 45th year.
