I do wonder if they could get CS and even CM to do a one year contract. Id love to see Paul and Andrew and Will and Sonny on Days

However If using these characters on just spinoffs on Peacock means they get good story, Ill take them just on Beyond Salem

My Main Fear is that it will be a Part 3 To this, i would rather they reverted the budget on the soap for more believable sets and things Like That, Except the at least we get to See Eileen Davidson at work with her 5 characters, what kind crazy thing can they create for the next one?

Actor Colton Little chatted about starring in the “Days of Our Lives” limited series “Beyond Salem: Chapter 2” on Peacock.

“Doing ‘Beyond Salem: Chapter 2’ was a ride and it still is a ride,” he said with a chuckle. “It’s the biggest project that I’ve done so far and the most responsibility. It is such a treat to see the fan reaction and how everybody is really enjoying it.”

Little played the role of Andrew Donovan opposite Christopher Sean, who reprised his role as Paul Narita. “Andrew allowed me to explore a more adventurous side of myself,” he said. “I like being adventurous but I’m pretty cautious in my real life, and he is more ready to go at any point. I’m a little bit more measured in my personal life.”

“Christopher Sean was a dream to work with,” he admitted. “Christopher truly is a gift to the entertainment industry and to the ‘Days of Our Lives’ family. He was extremely kind and patient with me. He really took me under his wing and he was a complete gentleman and somebody I am proud to call a friend now.”

The synopsis of “Beyond Salem: Chapter 2” is as follows: In an epic, action-packed tale that spans the entire globe, from Monte Carlo to Hong Kong, beloved characters from “Days of our Lives” once again go “Beyond Salem” as they trade the comforts of home for an adventure of a lifetime!

The digital age

On being an actor in the digital age, Little said, “It’s a double-edged sword. Although there are more opportunities and jobs, it is sometimes difficult because the quality of jobs is not always there. We have so many shows coming and going all of the time. I hope that there is more quality content being presented.”

For young and aspiring actors, he said, “Be yourself. It sounds so simple but there is magic in that. If you try to be something that you are not, people are going to see through the fake version of yourself and you would have to come to terms with that eventually.”

Regarding the title of the current chapter of his life, he said, “Temperance.” “It is time for me to reflect and enjoy the opportunity that I got with ‘Beyond Salem’,” he said. “I also want to stay present in my personal life and remember that every day is a new day, and a new page in a book. You just need to turn the page and keep working.”

Zoom fan event

On Saturday, September 17, 2022, he will be a part of Spectrum Celebrity Events’ virtual fan event. For more information on this Zoom event, click here. “I am so excited, this is my first fan event so I am so pumped,” he said. “It is also great to know that a part of the proceeds helps True Colors United.”

He had great words about being a part of Brad Everett Young’s Dream Loud campaign, which works to preserve art and music programs in school. “Brad is so great, he is so much fun,” he exclaimed. “I was proud that he asked me to do it and it is really important for me to support the arts.”

Little defined success as “being able to wake up every day excited about what you get to do.”

For his fans, he concluded, “Thank you, the best is yet to come, and thank you for opening your arms to Andrew and for making it such a welcoming experience.”

Just watching now. Siiigh. I'm so excited.

Steve Burton returning as Harris ... uh, ok I guess ... lol

John being the hit of Paul's PRIDE party was great. So good seeing Christopher Sean.

Kristian Alfonso looks fantastic and I loved the tension between Ciara and Hope

Steve and Kayla popping in on Stephanie (I like the actress), Joey and hottie Tripp is great. About time the former two were recast.

BO! I cried. Sigh.

I'm so excited for her. I hate I spoiled myself and knew she'd be in it.

Jesus

I don't mind the "you look different" but yeah DAYS overdoes it.

Andrew showed up now in Episode 1. FINALLY ANDREW DONOVAN! And with Paul too ... yay

Yesss .... WELCOME BACK FROM THE DEAD MEGAN HATHAWAY! I got chills. The actress has wanted to come back for like forever.

- EPISODE 2

Yasss. Queen Kristen and Eileen Davidson! And LOL with her Real Life Man, right?

    • I have to check out his Bela Garody on Search for tomorrow. He was one of the main reasons EON worked for me when I was watching. Truly unforgettable presence. Handsome in the most perverse and sinister way. They don't make faces like that anymore.
    • My favorite moment in SOAPDISH is the HW taking the star to the mall in NJ to improve "morale"!!
    • Oh no! The shoulder pads! I will mourn them when they're gone. Please tell me the head pieces and hats remained!?
    • Shout! TV has now added season 26. Not sure what the reasoning for that was, but maybe it was the one that was ready to go...
    • It's AWFULLY hard to tell.  But out of the (approximately) 16 weeks so far in 2025, Bryton has only had about 12 episodes.  That's significantly less than 1 per week.  Once the actor drops down to less than 1 per week for an extended period of time (such as a 39-week cycle), I start thinking there's no contract in place for him or her.  Surely these folks aren't tying themselves down to a show for a guarantee of 1 or 2 episodes a month.   If I counted right, Bryton has had 21 episodes in the past 24 weeks.  They're either (a) about to kick into high-gear & work his ass off to meet his minimum guaranteed appearances, or else (b) he ain't got a contract that guarantees him squat.
    • These contract guarantees of 1 ep per month are ridiculous. How can you even have a story if your character apprars 4-5 times in a month? It's sad.
    • It's hard to tell with some actors appearing on average 4 times in a month whether they're recurring or just on a low guarantee contract. Someone recurring  like Beth Maitland can be used a lot for several months then disappear. So the monthly tallies aren't enough to go by.
    • Of the so-called "contract" cast members, I'd venture to say these are recurring: Bryton James, Camryn Grimes, and (possibly) Michael Graziadei.  I've suspected since 2018 that Kate Linder and Christian LeBlanc are recurring.  And I believe we all know Miss Ordway is, because she said so. lol.
    • Dante blaming Gio instead of his dweeb son and the other dweeb was just ridiculous. Gio's paternity story is going in circles with no reveal. I've already started fast forwarding Drew and his stupid ho Willow's story. Kristina's story is beyond dumb with no great payoff.
    • Sarah (with the English accent) isn't just some random character.  Sarah was once the housekeeper for Eliot Dorn and Margo Huntington.  One of the following 2 scenarios happened a few months ago: (1):  One night, while Margo wasn't at home, and while Oscar the Doorman wasn't at his post, a burglar sneaked into the private elevator, rode up to the penthouse, stole several thousand dollars worth of Margo's valuable diamonds and pearls, and tied-up Eliot Dorn and Sarah the Housekeeper, ensuring that Eliot and Sarah couldn't pursue the burglar back down to the lobby or phone the police to apprehend the burglar. OR --  (2): Eliot Dorn was SLEEPING with Sarah the Housekeeper, and the two of them conspired to steal Margo's jewelry and went on a lavish spending spree and then tied THEMSELVES up to make it look as though a burglary had occurred in the penthouse. Margo Dorn currently believes Scenario #1 occurred, and she's rather annoyed that the "incompetent police" haven't located her stolen jewels yet.  Eliot and Sarah know that Scenario #2 actually occurred.  When Sarah stopped by the Unicorn and saw Eliot kissing Raven Swift, Sarah snidely said, "Oh! This must be Mrs. Dorn!  Nice to meet you, Mrs. Dorn!" Sarah knew good & damn well Raven isn't "Mrs. Dorn" because Sarah worked for Margo Dorn on a daily basis for many months.  That was Sarah's not-so-subtle way of announcing, "I'll be paying a visit to District Attorney Logan Swift and letting him know that his wife is sleeping with you, and I'll be paying a visit to WMON to let Margo Huntington know that you're sleeping with Mrs. Swift!"  lol.
